I was trying to make some random avatars for this board that I could use at some time or another (or anyone else could use)... the problem is, I'm really not very good at all. Anyways, if anyone could, could they give me some tips on how I could do better work next time? The avatars are all here:

GIF Animations should be always smoooth, and I mean smoooth, not smooth. Three o's for a reason.
They also don't necessarily need humor, but something that makes you smile is enough. I smiled at your current avatar, so that's a start. And last, transparency. Transparency in GIFs is always appealing, so don't leave big white areas to the background or anywhere else for that matter. ____________________ |

A bit of common sense would help with some of these.
An example: Being this. Forward at 10MPH, backwards a 1MPH and repeat given the road below it saying so. On your current ava, which isn't bad, you've got a flame in the center that seems that it should be a little bit higher...otherwise it seems it'll melt the floor more than the pot. Otherwise, not too terrible and at least it's something not too unoriginal as cooking Mario. Actually, that isn't half bad of a take on Kirby's COOK ability. |
