The Bourne Ultimatum comes out next month. Being a big fan of The Bourne Identity (though I never read the books) I'm definitely looking forward to it. I hope the camera work improves over Supremacy, since that was just awful. Seeing it in a theater gave me a headache, even sitting in the back. Regardless, Jason Bourne kicks the most butt in all of cinema. My entire family will probably go see Ultimatum on opening day--or soon after.

I saw the trailer for I Am Legend the other day and somehow that one trailer has me hyped for it, not to mention I've heard the book is great. Unfortunately, the screenplay is being written by the same guy that wrote I, Robot, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, AND The Da Vinci Code, ALL of which are bad movies. But somehow, I still have hope.

Pixar's next project, Wall-E, looks amazingly cute, sad, and just plain amazing. There's one small trailer and a little bit of unofficial information, but it looks like it could be really great. Pixar's productions have been decreasingly interesting to me lately, but this one sounds like it might be really great.

To what are you looking forward?

That new JJ Abrams project looks like it could be cool.

I liked the Hot Rod trailer, too.

This year:

The Bourne Ultimatum.

Next Year:

The Dark Knight
Indiana Jones IV
Bond 22
John Rambo

The Dark Knight looks most promising for next year - the new Joker looks awesome, as does the new batsuit. And Batman Begins is one of (if not the best) comic book films of all time, thanks to Chris Nolan's script and direction.

Bond 22 should be pretty good too. They're continuing with what they started with Casino Royale and going back to the style of the early films - with an emphasis on making a decent thriller rather than a typical action flick. The choice of director in Marc Forster (and screenwriter Paul Haggis) reflects this. Should be great, and it's awesome to see the series finally getting back on track after the truely terrible american-ised Brosnan films.

In the John Rambo trailer, he rips out a guy's trachea with his bare hands, blows up a person at close range using an onboard machine gun on a jeep and punches a guy's head off. Enough said.

Indiana Jones IV looks very interesting so far, and the released shots so far prove that Harrison Ford still looks the part. Thankfully they're shooting in the same aspect ratio, on the same film stock using animorphic lenses - which proves Spielberg is intent on keeping the style of the original trilogy intact.

Right now: Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix.
This winter: The Golden Compass
Next year: Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

As you can tell, I am really into the fantasy genre. I'm also really into Sci-Fi although probably not as much, but I haven't heard of any good sci-fi films coming out soon.

Slight addition: Sunshine, which has yet to come out in the US. Cillian Murphy is one of my favorite actors (so good in The Wind That Shakes the Barley), and Danny Boyle has a legit track record.

Yeah, I saw it in april when it came out here.

It's definately very, very good. Cillian Murphy is brilliant as usual, and the direction is superb.

Cant wait for Cillian's return in The Dark Knight either.

Why is everybody so excited about that? The fact that there was no information whatsoever (well, okay, it said "J.J. Abrams. What? You go find out what the heck it is! I'm not telling!") in the trailer made me decidedly uninterested in it. It was irritating.

Oh yes. I can't believe I forgot about The Dark Knight. I'm not a theater goer, but I will most definitely be seeing it opening day, if possible.

Transformers 2.

Because it pays to wait through the credits.

Yeah, I sort of know how you feel, having driven across the I-10 in Arizona before...

People like it because it has shit blowing up in it, appeared to be caused by something mysterious and of titanic proportions. Though it looked a little lame, the concept was fairly intriguing. I thought it was a clever way to advertise it, and I certainly prefer it over something that is overly pervasive, like the Pirates of the Caribbean movies for example (I really hope it doesn't get to that stage). I can't say I really anticipate it though, just that I hope it doesn't turn out to be a piece of crap movie.

This will be awesome: Action Movie! How long until Sci-Fi movie? Do you think they will make a Epic Movie 2? Also, Scary Movie 5 will be cool.
