I think, the reason why we die, is to recycle.

Now first off, I am a God person, to an extent, but I let my mind wander to think if there would possibly not be a God, or something like that.

The reason why we die is to recycle energy, and pass your traits on to the next generation, because things become obsolete.
Since of the fact that there's no unlimited energy source really, or anything in the format for us to continue to use without it being ran out eventually because of things not dying.

Now, I'm not saying this is HOW we die, but this is possibly why we die.

To whatever extent, we do evolve, not in a physical sense, but of how we comprehend things. As there's a society, information will be passed throughout time, and the newer generations will be worked ahead.

I don't know. I had a lot more in mind the first time I thought about this but yeah.

What do you think?

I think we die because our bodies get old and worn out.

Pesonally, I think we die because of the way we are born.
We aren't born asexually, like how it always used to be. It used to alwyas be 1 -> 2, but for us, it's 2 -> 3. In fact, it's different then just that. It's more like...
1 -> 0 0 (With the number being years old) And for us...
30 + 30 = 30 30 0 (With the number being years old)
Instead of being reborn as 2 new lives, we just make another. The old has to clear out for the new generation, instead of becoming the new generation, thus... We have to die, or there will be too many of us.
(Unnatural death used to be the only death.)

Unless you're a hermaphrodite.

Aren't we talking about typical human reproduction?

I think people die because no one could stand living here for more than 130 years.

We die because the human body is not immortal. Time takes its toll on our hearts, our brains, and the rest of our organs. When those are unable to function, so are we.

The fuck?

Okay, death by UNNATURAL cause would be someone going 'English, motherfucker, do you speak it?' and having the person go 'what?' and be shot and killed.

Hay, Pulp Fiction.

But what we die FOR, not FROM.

Depends on who or what you die for, whether it be something valuable like a lover, friend, family member, and so on. It may also be based on something that could be regained with effort such as money.

You can also die for people with negative thoughts about them. It's not a good choice, but it's one nonetheless.

Or maybe you died for an animal because a guy decided to shoot you, because he thought you were "a fox" or something.

But the reason we die and how we die pretty much go hand and hand together.. If we didn't, we'd overpopulate the planet rather quickly and that would be a very bad thing. It is therefore our nature to die.

If you're looking for some profound philosophical reason for death then.. you're probably going to be vastly disappointed at the answers you hear. Even if you delve into the reaches of possibility and consider the after life into the equation, there is still the simple fact that we die because we do - it is just the way it works, there is nothing more to it than that.

Now it's sounding more out of patriotism.

If I'm getting this through my large-ass bouts of sarcasm, you're basically asking why aren't we immortal and why do we get to the point where we reach our peaks only to inevitably erode into crap in some sort of twisted joke that plays through everyone's lives no matter how small or large they are in the vast expanse of space?

Because we'd get bored.

That said, life is what you make out of it. Those that complain about it -and- have no right to (I realize this may be a problem for some) should either fix it (if at all possible) or grow the fuck up.

I would say Carpe Diem but I have a feeling that with as many nightowls as we have...Carpe Noctem may work a fuck better.

For the individual, boredom would be the reason, and for the community that is made up of all living things on this planet, it would be overpopulation... like already mentioned.

Death is quite a cynical thing, cooperating with illnesses such as cancer or depression, because every now and then, someone just needs to die.

And this reminds of something that I have thought quite a bit about; how I get the feeling that everything that happens, happens for a reason, regardless of how pointless it might seem at the time. And I mean everything, such as bumping your toe into the door... because that may lead to action A, which leads to action B, which affects persons 1 and 2... and then you have it going.
