I've had just about enough of fireworks. Every night for the past two weeks: BOOM... BOOM... EEEEEEEEEE... BOOM... CRACKLE CRACKLE CRACKLE... BOOM... and so on.

Maybe if the police would enforce the fact that fireworks are, you know, illegal in Illinois, I wouldn't have to listen to my loud neighbors.

But anyway, happy 4th!

You ruin the 4th of July, if I could i'd take a rifle outside and start shooting that thing off. It's all in good fun.

I don't mind it on the 4th itself. It's the 2 weeks beforehand that bug me.

Try my house. I can basically SEE fireworks stands from my room.

This 4th, quite frankly, is my worst one ever

I live in California, where the aerial stuff is illegal, and I'm tired of the so-called "safe and sane" stuff. Safe and lame would be a better term

The nearest seller of the hardcore items is a 5-hour drive from here--Pahrump, Nevada.

Don't get me wrong, I love fireworks and think they should be legal everywhere except major cities, but this year all I did was stay home, have a boring little barbecue with only the grandparents over, and tried to watch the nearest fireworks display from my balcony--10 miles away x_X

Oh well, there's always next year

I went to my friend's house like last year and this time I actually lit the fireworks (they were small ones) and I held something that fires little fireballs. :x I also had marshmallows over a campfire which tasted <3. It was fun
