Of course, while 6 years is a lot, I've been on the internet for 9 years. That's probably why the new people who praise various sites I dislike don't understand me. Back when, Adobe, er, it should be called 'Macromedia' Flash didn't exist. There was also Shockwave Flash, which was also separate and didn't exist. PDFs didn't really exist, in fact, PNG was nowhere to be seen either.

I miss the old Yahoo front page those idiots have filled it up with the things I hate.

Um, er, right. Happy 6th, Xkeeper. But I've been at VGF for 7 years. At least, since 04-22-2000.

The years after 4 tend to all smash together and no longer seem important. Ironically, I'm on a collision course with a third year spent here, having registered here originally at 12-11-04.

And this is my (combined across all Acmlmboards) 1282th post.

I remember when Shockwave was around! Before Flash... heh. The Internet must've been a lot more simpler and dial-up friendly back then, since dial-up was the only type of connection, correct?

We first got on the Internet about 10 years ago. We used MSN which had the GREAT monthly price of $100, or so I've been told. Where did I go at that time? Nickelodeon's website, of course!

One year is all I've got in my hands. Well, maybe a couple more weeks than a year, but that's not that much of a difference.

The forum I've been around for the longest was Nintendo's NSider Forums/Hyrule Town Square. I registered there in August of 2003. However, I never go there anymore, so that doesn't matter so much.

Anyway, CONGRATULATION! on six years of keeping that X. (Oh dear God that was a horrible line) Here's to another six! or something

Last view: 6096 days 		I still have to contend with 56K (26.4kbps, really) and not out of choice. This place is a city and it has a grand total of 30% landline access to high speed. This is really the first area I've ever been to that people have gone to such lengths as doing point-to-point wireless gateways to pick up someone else's DSL 3 miles off via antenna. Most people don't want to foot out the -at least- 50 dollars a month to get wireless, and that's through Verizon if you have a cell.

Nice DSL or DSL2/+ packages don't really exist here. Charter's here for cable and they suck donkey balls (obviously don't have any cable net either).
