Yet my friend almost always comes in last place when he isn't snaking.

...Except against me, because I don't play the game enough to get any good at it.

(Besides, I'll be gone this weekend, so I wouldn't be able to race you even if I thought I had even the smallest chance at winning.)

I don't know about you, but when the choice came between "rapidly wiggling my thumb back and forth on this tiny fucking d-pad" and "just ignoring it and saving myself the pain", I think I'd pick the latter too.

Same. I kinda find myself to only be able to play Mario kart for a short periods of time whenever I snake. In the end I decided to not snake, and just have fun with the game instead of getting annoyed at having pained fingers.

I don't think I want to get a frigging op on my thumb to allow me to snake. I can't even press the D-Pad repearedly like that for more than a match or my thumb starts to lock up.

Plus it starts to get boring seeing Dry Bones, Dry Bones, Dry Bones or Yoshi. :/

Dude, even when you're not snaking, Dry Bones is easily the best character. Even if Dry Bones and Yoshi didn't have the best cars, people would still use Dry Bones in other peoples cars. Every character has their own weight value that modifies the car's weight. Dry Bones is the lightest, which means Dry Bones suffers the least for going off-road, making shortcuts without mushrooms viable, offering a huge advantage.

None taken. A debate is a debate, after all.

If there were divisions of "Snakers" and "Anti-Snaking", then it would be hardly anything to complain about at all. Sadly, they are one and the same, so everyone is annoyed.

In fact, as soon as I see Dry Bones get selected as a character, I quit right then. I'm going to avoid snakers whenever I can.

I only snaked on 1 player =P
and I did it as bowser >=D
it was figure 8 circuit, thats how I did it...
personally though i hate it when people do that on multiplayer, it ruins the fun...

Incorrect. I have clearly demonstrated that this is not true. Other people have demonstrated better arguments against it, that they are physically incapable of snaking and don't like always losing, that they don't want to devote time to mastering it when it's not a game they particularly care about and don't like getting owned by people who are on a higher level. These are understandable. You have merely asserted that every snaker is wrong. I do not appreciate this.

I don't type too much. You're just a scrub. Wanting not to isn't a good enough reason. It is your duty as a gamer to get better and provide better competition to those you meet online. If you neglect this, a worse time is had by all.
