Just about 00:01:06 ago, I read a thread. I read it from the Latest Posts link. When I click on the link again, it says that the thread is still "NEW", yet there are no new posts. Why is this?

Because your browser's cache settings are wrong. Try holding shift and hitting the refresh button, or ctrl+F5

Does it count on the Wii? Because that's where it happened first. Refreshed, and nothing.

I think the reason it's happening on the computer is because I'm in Guest mode, but the Wii can refresh and have nothing change.
(I know. I should have specified what I was having the problem on firstoff.)

ANTI-EDIT: Cache isn't interchangeable on the Wii, is it?

Maybe you should have tried to click on the latest post link before opening your mouth.

For some reason (probably just an oversight), threads under latest post always have new in front of them. So no, it's just not you.

Not quite. "Latest Posts" shows every thread that has had a post in it within a specified time frame.
So, if you read a thread and look back later, the results are clear...unless it was posted in again, then it gets moved up.
It's just...hasn't been changing recently. It could be a bug...

EDIT: Up, it's back to normal. For now...

- Logging in as a guest doesn't give the "NEW" icons their usual functions. (They show up if the thread has been posted in within an hour)

- The "Latest posts" link doesn't include usage of "Mark forum read" when determining if it should show "NEW" or not.
