Hiryuu...it's a giant, blue, disembodied head, trapped inside a pyramid. It just sits there and STARES at you, and silently gives you a 4,000,000 point bonus. If you try to hack your way out of the room, it FOLLOWS YOU. How is that not creepy at 2AM (or any other time of the day)?

Ever played Airwolf for the NES? It's based on a (kinda popular, actually) TV series from the 80s and had a few cool looking graphics (it was pretty ugly for the most part) and stuff with some realistic cockpit views. But one time when you get briefed for a mission, the map screen suddenly cuts to this demon-wolf-face thing!! Scary as hell, especially since it looks so crude with the 8-bit effects. Here's a pic:

Yeesh, that thing's freaky. Reminds me of the scenes in The Exorcist where they flash those faces between scenes (as the site's webmaster said). And I've never played this game, so I guess I'm just giving you a really long-winded link to this fansite:

Phanto made sense. When you pick up a key, he would follo wyou around randomly until you dropped it.

This thing chops itself in half and follows you around the level until you return it to where it's supposed to go.
