TV lately has been a bummer. Everything on it has just sucked in my opinion. Only a few good shows have come around now (Eureka is one of them) and everything else is trash. Even cartoons are crap, they're all ripoffs of one another or are just stupid altogether. The last few surviving cartoons were Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents, and Jimmy Neutron. But what happened? Spongebob got new writers and they changed Spongebobs voice pitch, thus making it stupid. Oddparents got new writers and sucked and then they stopped production. Jimmy was bad at first, then got better, then got bad with crossover after crossover after crossover after crossover and eventually got canceled too. Everything on Cartoon Network is shit so don't even go there. Except for Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. That shows decent and pretty damn funny. My Gym Partner is a Monkey? What the fuck is that shit? Is that our idea of originality?
I think TV needs a major overhaul, they need to put up new shows that are original and not something like "Law And Order: Same Shit, Different People". Know what I mean? ____________________ I miss post headers more. |

I'm really losing interest in Lost, honestly. By each and every episode my interest just continues to drop. I'm just getting tired of the way they're playing it out. They'll spend an entire episode just to tell us one thing, or if we want more answers, we get more questions. Its just getting annoying.
Hereos is pretty good at times, and sometimes not so good. Other than that, I really don't watch a lot of TV. |

Jen actually got me addicted to CSI... Though I don't like any of the serieses except for the original. It's usually somewhat depressing, as well... But somehow the drama of the show helps fulfill my daily dosage. Plus, it's the kind of thing you can share with people.
I would also suggest you look into Scrubs as a television show. It's probably one of the funniest things on TV right now. Then again, they just did a musical episode, so they might have jumped the shark. |

Meh, I have mostly stopped watching TV too, The only stuff I watch is Anime. Tails is right though, cartoons as we know it have sunk to a low, there is almost no good ones left.
Anime on the other hand has grew and is having less sucky translations. Aka 4kids TV is keeping their grubby mits off of them. ____________________ |

Spongebob got a lot stupider than just a voice pitch change. The new writers made the show shit. In some of the newer episodes, I swear at any given second someone is saying something. The plots became too complicated. What happened to "blowing bubbles" or "getting a job"? The newer episodes have Patrick losing his head and getting a new smart one, and all sorts of insane shit. |

Last weeks Scrubs rocked, didn't see the musical though.
But yeah, its definitely one of the best shows out there. I thought they were going to cancel it for awhile there, or something? |

Thats right Stag. I noticed that too. They are trying to keep the amount of vocal silence in Spongebob to a near minimum. I noticed it in a few choice episodes too.
Karate Island had it ALOT. Spongebob says to Sandy something along the lines of "I'm going to Karate Island." and not even more then .30 milliseconds afterwards she says "Karate Island? I've never heard of it!" and then another .30 milliseconds, he says something like "Thats cause I am the best Karate expert!" Sandy also responds REALLY fast later on in the episode at Spongebobs throne and when she is walking into the water. Also, the episode when Patrick becomes a girl, there is alot of fast talking too. It's terrible. The episode I mean. And in the episode when they shrink the guys to get the clarinet piece out of Squidward, they also talk insanely fast. And don't forget the stupid ass new effects they have! All of the newer episodes have really clear computerized special effects in them. For instance, in the last mentioned episode when Spongebob is doing the "wave" dance move. Notice how smooth and not drawn on paper that was? Or what about in the "Best Day Ever" (Which Sucked) when he's singing in front of the Krusty Krab and his mouth is doing the most smooth transition from wide to closed you have ever seen in your life? It bothers me, and my sister is not a computer geek and she noticed it too and it bothers her. That tells you something... Now I feel like an idiot for watching so much kids cartoons, but I have a 3 year old brother so bare with me ____________________ I miss post headers more. |

Right now, there's nothing to watch but infomercials and some weird talking guy. Then again, I only have 8 or so channels in my room. |

The only thing I watch on a regular basis is Lost.
I guess the reason I haven't lost interest in it is because I don't actively hunger for answers, and because I'm aware of the fact that if they answered all the questions now, there'd be no plot left for the rest of the series. People who complain about it going nowhere need to either just sit back and enjoy the lack of a ride, or just stop watching. I also watch Grey's Anatomy on occasion. Other than that, the TV stays off except for Gamecube. |

I miss most of house episodes. I probably should just get the whole series from the net.
And besides, I have started to download random Simpsons episodes out of boredom. ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

Honestly, people, there's no reason to watch any show these days that's not Mythbusters.

The only thing I watch regularly is Lost* and maybe Adult Swim on Saturday and Seinfeld on TBS.
I used to be cartoon/anime crazy. Now, I tend to stick to manga and while I may watch Futurama and Family Guy at times, no cartoons interest me enough to actuallt turn the TV on. * Actually, I don't even watch Lost. Since it airs at 11 pm for me I miss it and thus I downloaded it and watch it on Friday. |

All I ever watched recently were murder mysteries, and I haven't seen a *new* one in about a month. I'd watch Adult Swim, but I don't feel like TV at that time of day. And to hell with the news. If Firefly weren't yoink'd off the air way back when, I'd probably be watching that.
Now I only use my TV for console gaming. Does anyone remember an old cartoon called Visionaries? Man, I loved that when I was little, but I've never met anyone who knows what it is. |
