I mean what's your thermostat cranked up to?

I thought I'd be around 72 but it seems I keep it around 78 these days. Not sure if that means anything.

My grandparents left it at 71 (or near), so I'm leaving it there.

At home, the thermo was at about 76, but my room was always 82-88

Although we keep it set to 72, it really varies from room to room. It's also hard to check, as we don't keep thermometers around the house...

Considering I leave the thermostat at off, I'd have to say about 18*C because of the cool air from the air condition upstairs going downstairs Plus I"m usually the only person down here.

Usually around the 70s.

My parents just figured out how to use the AC correctly -- me. I'm the one who has to place the switch onto "On" instead of "Auto" or "Off".

Oh, and I have to set that other switch to "Cool". My dad kinda knows how to use the thermostat.

I don't think you're quite getting it, sorry. (Hint: That controls the fan. Nothing else. Setting it to "On" just means it runs constantly... Auto makes it run when needed.)

My house tends to sit in the low 70s, although if it gets very warm outside, it can go into the upper 70s. A few degrees warmer for quite a bit less of a bill, heh.

I'm not sure what the AC's set to, actually. But my room is as cold as possible, at all times. I guess my preffered temp is somewhere in the 60s, but it's not at that in the summer. Still, if people walk into my room, and it's noticeably colder than the rest of the house, chances are I'm satisfied with it.

The AC is usually set in the 80s in my house. During the day, it is at 80ºF and during the night, it is at 84ºF. My parents don't want it below 80 so I have to use a fan in my room to keep myself cool over the summer.

I particularly have no care in the world for temperature as I operate quite well in all matters of heat, but if you must know the average temperature within my domicile is 70ºF.

Mine is usually around 20ºC (68ºF). I have no problems with it but sometimes my mom finds it's cold (don't ask why) so she cranks up the temperature figuring it will make it rise faster even though it doesn't.

Close enough. It makes things cool

Well, I decided to check the thermostat... 78 is the current house temperature. (It's set to heat up at 60.) So I was pretty much right. :|

67 or 68°F is what it's set to, but it's off. (No AC.) It's 70° right now, but it can get up to 90 in the summer. At least the forest in my backyard cools it off a bit. Sometimes I hear heat detectors in neighbors' houses go off because of the heat. (No giant evergreen shade trees for them.)

My DS says it's ~16°C right now. A bit cold, but bearable.
