New thread for this because of some double post rule in the ATS thread.
Brain Device Moves Objects by Thought And of course one group is working to use this technology in TV remotes. As if you weren't lazy enough, now you can change channels without even moving! |

Posted by BooUrnsYou know, if you're in a hospital and physically unable to press a button, you're probably really bored. I'm sure HyperHacker feels the same way about this. On the other hand, if you are physically able to press a button, why should you wear a heavy helmet when you use much less energy just pushing the button? ____________________ "I'm sick of it and I'm out. One use I could think of this is a sort of "CPU usage meter", but for your brain.
Now that would be interesting. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

Posted by joeYes, there is definitely use for this for disabled people, as mentioned in the article. I had to have the nurses operate the TV controls by calling them by pressing a button with my foot, and it could take them up to 45 minutes to arrive, since there were so few of them and they had more important things to do.Posted by BooUrnsYou know, if you're in a hospital and physically unable to press a button, you're probably really bored. Xk, I like the idea, but I'd hate to be the guy selling them. "Dur, I want a refund! It always says zero!" |
