So tonight I decided to fire up Guild Wars after a long time, and then like, 5 minutes into the actual game, my computer crashes to hell. Like, the GPU never exceeds 60 degrees C at all. So, uh, what could be the problem? I've already replaced the previous video card that did this before...I hope it's not busted....again...
Anyone else have this problem with games or something? My video card is a eVGA 7800GS AGP 256mb. ____________________ I like gay porn. It's hot |

Need more information really. Does this happen with every game you play? Does it "only" happen with games? You mentioned your video card never went above 60 degrees, but how is your case ventilated as a whole, well I presume? What OS are you using, and blah blah, etc etc.. More info. |

Every game with openGL, and yes, only games. Case has good ventilation, two case fans and an air vent on the side. OS = windoes xp home SP2. ____________________ I like gay porn. It's hot |

I have a BFG 7800GS OC, and it tends to freeze when I play Psychonauts. Temps are OK, and I have a beefy 650W PSU. I've read that it's a driver issue, but who knows when/if it'll be fixed.
Nice to know that the usability of your rather hefty investment is such a top priority at NVIDIA, huh? ____________________ [citation needed] |
