1. Anikiti.
2. There's also a DL link at SMW Central (It's on the waiting list right now though)

Looks like Anikiti's work....once you've seen one, you've seen 'em all They're all great, though...just tougher than nails. Only played Luigi's Adventure 1, though, but from what I've seen the others just rehash the first.

Nice GFX, but...SMAS rips are OLD'D, to put it lightly.

Still trying to beat the original. Anyone remember those arrow lift jumps from Castle 4? EVILNESS!!!!!!!! It took me 45 minutes to beat even with slowdown!

EDIT: Yowza, you beat me to it...!

Heh, nice one Well, SMAS GFX are overused these days by the lazy hax0r who can't vomit up the spare time to rip GFX himself, or better yet, draw some original ones. It's not BAD (actually, I love SMAS GFX), it's just...unoriginal.

In any case... SMAS > SMW

And if the hacker cannot draw good sprites... SMAS > Bad Graphics

Great graphics and unique levels, but it's not fun at all.

You should know that just about all Japanese hacks are extremely hard.

This is nothing new, Nintendo was lazy and used SMW sound effects for certain actions in the SMAS games. Completely out of place there.

It's really a pity how this always comes out uber-hard - while it has amazing graphics, neat ASM hacks and good level ideas.

I know that many Japanese players like(d) harder games, since there are so much more games than in any other state (not sure on that, just an assumption). Thus, the gamers may be seeking out challenges, which are far beyond our skill levels ...
On the other hand, we all know the difference about balancing a hack between the creator and the players (non-betatesters).

Anikiti's hacks are indeed amazing, but he really needs to tone down the difficulty. While sometimes it feels good to figure out the amazingly difficult puzzle he's given us to solve, and then execute it, doing a stage 50 times generally isn't fun. I found myself refusing to give up in his last game just because I wanted to gaze at the beautiful graphics in the next world!

NightKev, I can translate the text on the screenshot page if you like. It's names of worlds for the most part. Should I just post it here?

Piddly complaint, but I really wish Anikiti would fix that huge black splotch on the belly of all his Cheep Cheeps:

I wonder how much is new in this version from the previous version? Seems like I got to about world 5 in that one before I gave up in frustration.

I played to world 3, and in this hack, had too many fireflover's, what you not need.... And when I played, I thinked I close Zsnes and opten VirtuaNes and opten Silver Surfer game (yes, Silver Slufer are more fun game without turbo bottons than this hack) .

This hack doesn't deliver the "phantasm" at all.

Beaten it easily... well okay, not easily, but still gives me a hard time with solving some of the puzzles, especially the fire flower/ice block path combo while catching up with a line traveling platform in the Bowser sub-map. However Ani needs to add a keyhole and a key in .

I couldn't find the secret exit in that level. The map that contains castle five cannot be reached, not unless someone dives via unlock and adds the secret exit him/herself... Otherwise, this hack is somewhat enjoyable since I'm one of those players that enjoy difficult/challenging hacks.
