When I look back on how I used to act... I was worried about much more, never wanting to even take a chance at insulting someone.

Now, I'm more afraid of sounding stupid, than anything... Most of the things I create nowadays I'm not happy with, but in the past I used to like what I made.

I'd joined the board in December 2003, back in the first incarnation. I was known as "skateboarder11" then, and... recently got into ROM hacking. Unfortunately, I'm not in the archive.

My worst times were in 2004. Ugh, I don't know how I ever got caught up in furries... but fortunately I snapped out of that back in 2005. There was just too much drama in it for me.

I haven't changed much, really. Just become more of an asshole, yet... not an asshole.

Caught up in furries?

Wut?

What do you exactly mean? Was it about you getting in trouble with Fyxe or what? I forgot...

I'm too young to have nostalgia.
But I enjoy watching you all be nostalgic.
So I'll just continue to enjoy it

It's an interesting feeling, isn't it Xkeeper? I've had it before, and I got it again while reading your post. It's not really a nostalgic feeling, but a regretful feeling or one of loss. I wasn't around in '03, but I sometimes wish I could have been, back when the rom-hacking community was in what seemed to be it's heyday. :/

When you think about bygones and what could have been and what was, it's an interesting feeling for sure. I look back at what I thought the internet was when I first joined, and how my outlook on both the internet and life changed as I joined here and gained a social life, which then mirrored itself in real life later on. I'm also a lot less innocent than I used to be, and in some ways I wish I still was. Anyways, that's it for me.

I should've worded that better, )Ailure.

Back in 2004, I was actually what you could consider a furry. There was too much drama involved, however, and I kinda broke off of it.
