Weeeeell... the music's Sappy for the demo game, but you won't get the source data very easily, and I'm still thinking about how much to include.

Should be easy to switch in Apex or Krawall, though....

Aww man! I'm late on this thread

This looks SOOO kewl Kawa and team! First day it is realeased i'm gonna grab it. But a few questions about the source code. Will it be C or C++, will it be devkitadv or devkitPro, and will it have a makefile

. And I think people would definitely prefer Sappy format over any other format. It's because of your awesome tool. (And maybe a little bit because of the Assemble song function

)

So, quick question that I'm not really sure if it's been addressed already or not...

So, this project is just a clone of the Pokemon Engine, but open source? Or does it come with some sort of editor?

And if it does have an editor of some sort (And has been worked on,) could we see a screenshot of that?

Cool, I looked around a bit, and couldn't find anything.. Then again, I'm terrible at finding things.

No problem, your interface definitely deserves it.

One questions though, what are the "NUL" boxes at the bottom left of a few of the shots? Just where a player hasn't selected a tile for that particular mouse click, or something?

"NUL" is something I drew in the tileset BMPs to distinguish an actual null-tile from other black tiles. This way, you can easily see "missed" spots on the map too.

Pulled up a command prompt, dir'd to the examples directory and ran Make.

Edit: Let's just say that you don't need the MSYS prompt thingy.

Funny you mention cries. I was just wondering how the hell they're played like that in the real game.

For now, I have an editor in the works that can edit the XML file that defines all the monsters.

Also, make sure to include the 4th gen move type system (Ice Fang, while an Ice move, does physical type damage instead of special damage like all ice attacks used to)

You missed a move in Skitty's moveset, I just realized. Skitty learns "Captivate" at Lv. 42.

You also missed Skitty's second ability, "Normalize."
