While I don't blame people for having more than one animal (we had four pets as max, two guinea pigs and two dogs, now it's just the dogs), I actually kinda find it sad when people can't restrict themself. I guess this women is having some psychological problem... but I still have a very grim view on people who neglects animals. :/

Yeah it's not good, especially if you watch Discovery Channel's Animal Cops, because I've seen like more than one person have over 20 dogs in a friggin apartment. That's just nuts. O_o

Wow, what an in-depth article that was.

Well, I love animals, though I'm carnivorous. The only thing I absolutely hate, besides many people, are mosquitoes. I want them all to die immediately if not sooner.

Cats, in particular I adore. I have about half a dozen cat pictures on my phone. But I don't have any pets myself.

I'm interested in a domesticated skunk (or several) but I've never interacted with any. They're so cute though

So back to the topic, animal abuse is a crime, as it should be. It's not quite as fucked-up as child neglect, but I feel that any living creature needs attention and care.

I've grown up with cats and dogs. I could never stand to know someone I knew personally abused or neglected them. It's just... inhumane, you know?

(I'm still carnivorous... well, omnivorous, but that point still stands. I'd prefer to know my food animals weren't forced to live in agony their entire lives, but there's not so much I can do about that.)

Insects, ants in particular, can go to hell. My house had way too many ants over last summer, it was kinda... sickening.

Spiders are cool, though.

If one can so easily hate an ant, then a dog or cat is just a step up.

Abuse is abuse whether the abuser thinks it is or not.

Not unless there is a universally accepted definition of abuse.
