I am not surprised that a hospital acted like a dick to her. A St. Francis hospital gave pneumonia to my grandparents and bad drugs that killed them.
And they still want us to pay a huge bill (since they thought they lived). Fuckers. |

Really now, I don't see any relevance between this event happening and the fact that it happened in the United States. There could be just as uncaring hospital staff in any other country. The fact that it happened in the United States has no bearing at all ____________________ |

I work at a nursing home, so I know how insensitive people can be. When you're dealing with death all the time some people seem to find it difficult to find worth in life. It's not comforting but it's true and I sometimes find myself feeling the same way. I've worked mainly when I've had vacations from school since last year and I've found that you get conditioned to death. Fortunately though, the love from those living should always be felt and recognized to overcome your fear and sadness. That's the beauty in being human, we are animals. |

On a more serious note... You know what, there probably wasn't anyone available to help. At least here, hospitals are severely understaffed, and I hear this is true of many places. They may all have been responding to other emergencies.
However, it doesn't excuse why the civilians, police, and security guards didn't even try to help. Nor this: Warnings are useless if they're all you give. |
