But what the pfargtl happened to Acmlm's Board 1?
I thought there was no more Acmlm's Board for a while there...I went back to the usual place after a hiatus and discovered the place was pretty much dead. Only random (well, not quite random) Googling brought me to this place... I take it there was much net drama involved? ____________________ Midori no yama wo ikutsu mo koete sono oku he to itta koto ga arimasu ka...

I thought they were truly being assholes yesterday when Hiryuu was trying to basically extend an olive branch to them saying he didn't want trouble, sour relations, etc. anymore and they decided to throw it back in his face and laugh.

I have criticism of the users, not it's underlying technology. That board is also under active development and does have ideas not found here. FAQ and search from the 'third incarnation', w3c valid HTML & CSS, user interface translations (actually quite neat), etc.
Acmlmboard is somewhat BSD-like in how the existing publicly distributed code can be used for proprietary boards. There are a lot of them, few worthwhile ones remain. Keeping Acmlm/et al in the credits is encouraged however. I've tinkered with it, didn't get far not knowing PHP. ____________________ |

Yea drama on boards is basically like a disease... It takes boards with it, although when the board is reborn it removes the crap that started it. I think word filters can have good uses too 
In general, I hate word filters on boards, which is one reason I don't go to GameFAQs at all. I think they even censor "damn" there, but I haven't checked in ages... |

I registered there when it started but haven't posted, don't plan to post, and don't even remember my password if I did want to. I did register at all previous Acmlmboard incarnations (well, not early test boards or anything), although I joined the third one only a few days before it went boom. |
