Well, I noticed the tray starting to look a little odd some time ago. Now it mysteriously won't close. The latch seems to be messed up though. Obviously, software not utilizing discs like homebrew or ISOs (just got the Puyo Pop Fever one) isn't affected. I've confirmed that. Haven't tried running a disc. Who knows what would happen... Any suggestions?

Try pushing it down hard for a bit. I had that problem with my PSP once, and I think that's how I fixed it. UMD's should work fine, just hold it closed or try the above method a few times. If it opens, you'll just get the Home menu. BTW, ISOs > UMDs, in my opinion. Faster loading time, less physical space needed, and import games.

Hmm... I suppose a problem is that my Memory Stick is 1GB, and many of the best games are bigger than that even if trimmed. Guess I'll look for tape or whatever which can be removed without losing it's usefulness TOO much.
