Why hasn't this been created yet?
Anyway, WWE's really starting to suck lately. 1. Smackdown is incredibly boring, with all of its main events happening at PPVs. Its golden age was 2003/2004, and it all went downhill from there 2. It's more about drama than action. It's not a soap opera for cryin' out loud. It's all bitching and "lol i intimidate u i are better than u". No good matches at all 3. John Cena. Okay, I like him, I'll admit that, but why does he win every damn match he's in? I mean, having him defeat The Great Khali twice in a row was just ridiculous 4. WWE.com sucks. Seriously. Plastered with ads, pages don't load half the time, and the results of previous matches are shoved in your face when you want to go and watch videos of matches you haven't seen on TV. And at that, it barely shows any videos lately. So... annoying 5. Vince McMahon PRESUMED dead. It's a pathetic storyline really 6. ECW is a snoozefest since it became part of WWE; the new breed / CM punk thing has been going on for weeks Anyone else feel WWE's getting worse and worse? |

I stopped watching it a few years ago honestly. I used to be real into that stuff, but since it has been getting so bad lately, I just can't get into it. I mean serioulsy, the only reason I tune in anymore is because I want to see the Boogeyman... because that shit is funny to me, well that and on the off chance that I AM watching it, I might get to see Fit Finaly in action. That dude has always been one of my favorites.
Seriously though? I miss WCW house shows more than anything. |

Ah, WCW. Now those were the wrestling days. I loved WCW, but the WWF was awesome back then too.
I find it hilarious that my friends and I randomly turned it to Raw recently and low and behold, there he was, Rif Flair at age 1389 was still wrestling. Man it looked terrible. |

Posted by XeogredYeah I find it funny how a guy with a four-move repertoire (chop, knee drop, old man flop, and figure-four) can get such a huge pop. But, I suppose when you've held more championships than anyone in the history of the sport you deserve some respect Me? I've been a wrestling fan since birth. Always been an ECW person myself, but the current edition is pretty boring. WTF happened to Extreme Championship Wrestling? There's an extreme match like once a month. I think it's bullshit. Not to mention 90% of the old ECW stars are in TNA now (which I watch every Thursday on Spike). I still catch all four shows (Raw, ECW, TNA, SmackDown!) weekly... EDIT: By the way, anyone else catch the recent MMA debut of Brock Lesnar? Made this Korean guy (who got a silver medal at the 1996 Olympics in Judo) tap out due to strikes to the head in 1:09 of the first round. Talk about a badass. The video's on YouTube. ____________________ |

I used to be really into the WWE, then I missed one Raw, then two and then you can figure out what happened.
But yeah, I'm not ever watching it again. |

Last night on Smackdown, the announcer announced that Vince is 'presumed dead'... wouldn't his family even know by now??? During the moment's silence for Vince, the audience were even laughing at how ridiculous it all is
Vyper, they seriously need to bring back Brock Lesnar. He marked an era, but has since been ripped off by The Great Khali and Umaga without much success. |

Wrestling was at it's peak when WCW became an actual contender.
Without competition the WWE has been allowed to wallow in it's own self-absorbed little world. And I honestly hope Vince is dead. I couldn't stand his strut. |

More like TnA.
TNA sucks ass too. Sure, it has a lot of familar faces from WCW, but the acting is ridiculous from the stuff I saw about a year ago or something. It just looked way too fake and stupid. And the ECW is just an outer arm of the WWE nowadays, obviously. So yeah, it all sucks. |

Posted by Pac Weeks? I thought it was months by this point. Also is Vince Russo still doing things in TNA? I haven't been keeping up with everything for the past few months. |

Excuse the double-post, but it's important.
Chris Benoit (1967-2007) This can't be true. But I have a feeling they wouldn't bullshit us. Not now. |

Well, they said on Vengeance that Benoit didn't show up because of personal reasons but I doubt they would leave out the fact that he was dead.
Hopefully it's not true. Benoit ruled. |

It's true, local media's starting to report on it now.
The personal reason thing was apparently legit and the company did know about it (and, I presume, Benoit also told them he had to cancel for Vengeance), but there were no other details and the circumstances sound *really* freaky. I also just saw a report from a Corpus Christi paper stating that RAW tonight is CANCELLED; apparently they're going to go ahead with a tribute show for Benoit but it won't be a live show with fans in the arena. If anything it's going to be in the empty arena with tributes and past matches. ...*and* they already had the 3-hour TRIBUTE TO VINCE show ready to go. So you can't just throw that out the window and toss out random matches with such a short time in-between events. I'm predicting right now that Vince is on the show tonight and that the angle is dead and forgotten since there's no way they can proceed with it now. The last bad one was Eddie... this one's just as bad if not worse. EDIT: Apparently they started RAW; empty arena, Vince in the ring and he was really emotional. |

Apparantly, Benoit killed his wife and his child. That's what's being reported on some sites - even the WWE site. I'd like to see where this goes after they just did a special on how great he is. It'd be the ultimate heel turn, though.
Also, I found it slightly amusing how McMahon broke kayfabe during the intro to RAW. Slightly ironic how they had a fake death storyline going on, and now there's a real death. |

This is an extremely fascinating story because it's so fscked up. WWE now is in a no-win situation after tonight if this is indeed the case, since even if they had good intentions people could turn and say that they just honored a murderer. :\ The one time they actually cancel a show after a death and they might STILL get heat over it. Karma.
Autopsies are tomorrow morning so we'll have a good idea on what exactly happened then. And the online reaction tonight has been tremendous. I've never seen such a u-turn as people who were praising Benoit as if he were a saint start saying he was scum. Then there's the people who say Benoit and Eddie are together in heaven... and, um, *IF* what we've heard is true, that theoretically disqualifies Benoit from being there. :\ |
