So I had my college exams (or "finals") in May, and tomorrow I'm getting the results, and I sooo don't want them.

Thing is, I failed one out of six at Christmas, and my mother went apeshit and said that if I fail any this summer, I'm out of the house... that probably won't happen but still, I could do without her nagging and shit...

The main thing is though, if I fail an exam, I have to repeat that exam in August, during my summer holidays

I'm so nervous about it (15 hours left)

Anyone else getting exam results around now?

While it is only high school finals (Freshman level to be exact) I'm nervous about my Algebra final. The teacher said just about everything I turned in was late, so I had an mediocre "C" going into the final. :p
Guess what? None of it made sense. I may have understood about ten of the thirty-five questions. So I'm sort of dreading the results of that one (set to arrive several days from now).
Otherwise, I had mostly A's.

I failed my History, Chemistry, and Geometry finals (obviously high school) last month. Passed all classes, though.

And my parents got pissed. I'm now digging a hole in my yard.

I have yet to take my finals(High School, freshman), stupid late getting out of school. Anyway, I fear for my English final. It's the only class I'm remotely worried about, because I have A's in every other class, but in English, I've got around a flat 80. I know I'm going to do horribly on this final, probably fail it, and that would give me a C, which is bad. Considering my track record, a C is something that could mean bad things. Of course, some students are failing the class already(This is an honors english class), but I don't want the F on my final, I can see an impending explosion if my parents see an F on the final, especially since the final grades are displaed like Quarter grades on the report card, though they are worth less.

Supposedly, everyone at my school is taking their finales on the last day. I hope that isn't true, because aren't the last few days supposed to be fun? I mean, I doubt I will for the rest of my classes, since I did for English and AVID [Essay on a personal experience and speech] and [Essay on To Kill A Mockingbird] respectively. I don't think any of my finals will be hard, my hard classes were all last semester

The last few days are finals here. They start thursday and go on until tuesday, wednesday is the makeup day, and that's it for the year.

Finals? What is this 'finals' you speak of?

Anyway, my scores in all my subjects according to the official document:

English 11: 98%
Superior Algebra: 96%
US History: 99%
Drama: 99%
Chemistry: 93% (woo!)
Spanish 11: 95%

Then there's the PAAT (our standardized test): 99%.
And the College Board, which I scored a 3692 and got a letter from them congratulating me for having one of the top 100 scores in all of Latin America

Finals, finals... Well, out of my six classes...

Woodshop: Reading a paragraph aloud. This is our "final".
PE: Final? PE? Riiight...
Biology: Easy. Nothing hard.
World Geography. Turned in 220 point "final". We (a friend and myself) got 185 or so points.
Algebra A/B (1st half of course, extended to a whole year) AKA Algebra for Retards: Yeah, uh... 8th grade work, here.
English: To my surprise, all we had was a "spelling" test of about 32 words. We then had to put them all in a sentence. After that, we answered some questions about the subject/verb agreement, pronoun/antecedent agreement, and appositives. There were some other questions. After that, we had to write an essay about someone having a huge impact on our life, such as Atticus from To Kill a Mockingbird, or about some life experience that changed us. Simple.

So our finals were nothing much.

yay freshmen woo

Software Engineering -- 62
Mathematics -- 35
Convergence -- 49
Programming -- 76
Rich Media -- 37
Web Development -- 66

pass = 40%

EDIT: I'm goin to college later so I can go and find out what the deal is with the continuous assessment work, as it counts for half the final result, and the exam for half. If I'm lucky I'll only have to do a wee project for the two I failed.

I did a two year BTEC in Film Production, which is the equivalent of two A levels (the course has no exams, it's purely practical and theoretical work).

I got a distinction and a merit for my work in the course, so basically I've got two A standard A level grades. Which is awesome. For photography, I should get a B going by my coursework and my exam (which was just 4 hours of listening to music, eating, and developing photos).

So these are my grades:

A
A
B

Whoo.

For my computer class, I thought we were going to do our final on the internet, but apparently just being on computer class doesn't mean it can't be on a piece of paper wondering why you can't do it on the internet

I didn't take finals because I was a senior. I passed all my classes too, which is always nice.
