How badly do you procrastinate?

I used to not be too bad in middle and high school, after one time in elementary school when I procrastinated on a book report so long that I ended up having to do like 2/3 of it in a single evening. My parents would yell at me if I wasn't doing whatever assignment at an acceptable level of progress.

Now that I'm away from them, my procrastination gets worse and worse. With classes I'm actually interested in it's rarely a problem, but for humanities classes, I usually won't start an essay until the day it's due. I just can't force myself to work on essays until it's "do or die". With assigned reading, I generally skip it entirely and just feverishly flip through the book, my notes, and/or Sparknotes while I'm writing the essay. In-class tests kill me.

I even procrastinate on things not related to school, if it's something I don't want to do or don't really care about.

I procrastinated a lot during the school years. It was mainly not doing homework on the weekend until Sunday night. I felt like I have plenty of time to do it later.

I'm just glad summer is here and I don't have to worry about procrastinating over homework until September.

Most of the time, but it's usually when I don't feel like doing anything but be in the internet all the time. I start a project the day before it's due.

I procrastinate on every project. I (and a friend, should it be a partner-project thing) won't usually start on it until the week it's due. Most of the time, I make it. However, this year, a friend of mine and I kept missing the due dates for every biology project. We got them all in with full-credit (minus the flaws within the project) with our late homework passes.

I procrastinate on a lot of school-related things, especially studying for my Regents

I even procrastinate on non-school things sometimes, but not as often as I used to...

I'm sure I turned my procrastination switch on a few months ago, and have since forgotten where it is.

I keep telling myself to go look for it, but I simply don't feel like it right now... Maybe some other time...

I'll admit it, I'm a bit of a chronic procrastinator Especially when it comes to stuff like essays--and the tedious stuff in hacking like piecing together BG tiles

Exactly my problem, but that was more in high school. I've gotten better with it but it's hard for me to work in the library, specially when I get tempted to play games on ZSNES. I think I've finally learned the hard way not to leave my term paper till even 2 nights before it's due. Yet maybe a month later, the shock fades and I do it again Procrastination's like prison: no matter how bad the experience is, some people just don't learn to avoid it. It's a vicious circle.

I could be doing something productive right now, but instead I've been hovering in the Pointless Post Palace for nearly an hour doing nothing at all.

I could even be making KvSG right now... but maybe later.

Rhapsody...oh fuck...

Last time I played that was over a year ago.

And the last time I played Minish Cap was two years ago. Guess what didn't get beat?

Reminds me of an old title I had, "Instant gratification isn't fast enough"

In other news, for example, take a part of my site:

subcon
updated 2007/04/29

But from my temp file:

SUBCON TEMP 14
05/17/2007

Subcon Temp 14b
05/20/2007

Subcon Temp 05/2?/2007

Subcon Temp 05/28/2007

Subcon Temp 06/08/2007

Subcon Temp 06/09/2007

Actually updating is a joke

Well, I suppose Instead of doing these things, I'll just list what I'm procrastinating on...

(Re)-Learning these programming languages:
C# 2005
C++ 2005

Beating these games (this is sad and pathetic):
Final Fantasy X
Final Fantasy X-2
Final Fantasy XII
Dragon Quest VIII
Persona 2
Ogre Battle 64
Lufia
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Pokémon Colosseum
Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness
Super Mario Sunshine
Kingdom Hearts II
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness
Dark Cloud
Phantasy Star II
Dragon Warrior III
Final Fantasy II-VII (Yes, all of those)
Shining Force
Shining in the Darkness

There's probably more I can't think of...
