I mean, hell, you know you don't really need sleep when your mind somehow believes your grandpa said something about putting fireworks over your breakfast. ____________________ I dealt with it. |

snap - crackle - POP
My mind doesn't act funny like that when I'm sleepy. :/ It tends to act funny mainly when I've been working too long. |

I have vague memories of him saying something about (me) being an Acolyte too, which I know was just crap
Quite often I wake up unable to tell if what just happened was just a dream or real, and it usually worries me for some time Nothing is quite as frigtening as wondering when the police will come for you after doing a bit of dream hijinks (with a cop high speed chase included) ____________________ I dealt with it. |

huh.
Would sleep deprevation be a legitimate excuse in a court? I often have a bit of trouble remembering if oold memories are from dreams or reality, but I've never had that problem with recent memories. |

Posted by Kejardon That's a good question, actually. I know I watched a show on sleepwalking, and apparently it can be used as an excuse for murdering someone if they can prove you have a history of it. In any case, I seem to be staying up until 12:30 AM on a regular basis lately, and it hasn't been too difficult to get up at 6:00. I rarely mistake what people say or other things like that, though I can be disoriented if something wakes me up in the middle of the night. The most common problem is if I have a little time to snooze or something during the day and I can't actually remember whether I fell asleep or not. It's probably not very unusual, but it sure is confusing. ____________________ What sig? I don't have a sig. |

Posted by Xkeeper That happens to me as well, all the time. A lot of my dreams for some reason involve me telling someone something, and I wake up and have no idea if I actually told them or just dreamed it. My brain is so gullible, I will believe even the most absolutely ridiculous of dreams even for a few minutes after waking up. And I got 8 hours of sleep last night after weeks of only 6 hours a night. My problem is (a) I tend to stay up later than I intended, and (b) I'm a natural alarm clock and automatically wake up as soon as it gets light out, which right now is like 06:00. |

My dreams are always so far in the realm of "damned ridiculous" that I always know they weren't real. |

Well, mine are also fairly ridiculous, but at the same time believable in some twisted sense. Maybe I'm just crazy. |

Well, if your dreams aren't conceivable, then where would your brain be getting them from?

My more recent dreams seem to involve flying, from being attacked by snakes and crashing into a fence (while flying) to ... watering my neighbor's lawn until it turns to mud? (While flying, of course.)
The one that really takes the cake is when someone ATE a cell phone. (Supposedly, they were being tracked...) If my dreams made sense, I would... Wait, I already am. ____________________ "I'm sick of it and I'm out. See you around." ~Cpu's last post here |

I dream of new creatures that should of been in Pikmin and shortly after I wake up I sketch what I remember, if I knew where the Digital Camera or some scanner my mom put somewhere in the abyss known as the basement I would get it and show you the Snurtle (Snail Turtle) I made.
Edit: Another dream I had recently was that I caught 2 shiny pokemon EXACTLY one after the other. ____________________ Happiness is an internet without the idiocy. Z-bot pic a la Peardian |

Pff, that's nothing compared to my dream this morning. I woke up at 5 and went back to sleep, then it started like I'd walked right into the middle of things. (Note: It's okay to laugh at it. I still am.)
I was at the bottom of the stairs in my house and started walking around, somewhat similar to getting ready for school, except it was probably midnight outside and I was still wearing my pajamas. (I remember that detail quite distinctly.) Everything was normal, with the exception that everyone else I know that goes to my school was also walking around. I walked into one hallway and there was one of my friends, sitting on top of the clothes dryer and playing his French horn. That was normal (compared to my other dreams), until he started playing two notes at the same time. I asked how he was accomplishing this impossible feat, and he told me to shut up and go away. So then I turned and looked into the kitchen and saw a girl from my science class walking around without pants on. Rather than go into the kitchen, I turned the other way, went back to the stairs, and went up. At the top of the stairs was another one of my friends, kneeling down to look at a piece of black string (about 6 inches long) crawling like an inchworm. It crawled down 8 or 9 stairs, I glanced at the light switches on the wall (4? There's only two in reality...), and returned my attention to the string. The string had grown in width and now had eyes (I swear I've seen an almost identical Pokémon), and had defied the laws of physics by being only 3 steps down and still going. A fade to black, and I wake up. 6:00. ____________________ "I'm sick of it and I'm out. See you around." ~Cpu's last post here |
