On my desktop, I'm already logged in, and it works fine. But on my laptop, I'm not, and it won't accept my password.

Tch, I see what happened. Firefox went "durr let's fill in the remembered password in editprofile.php" and changed it back to an old one.

Firefox does that. Hell, back on the old board, Firefox-using admins who had to edit people's posts often found Firefox overwrote the username/password fields with the stored one.

That sucked.

I use Firefox, that says enough right there. I'm just not such a drooling fanboy that I can't admit it has bugs. FF is great, not perfect.

Firefox is good enough for me, doesn't need to be perfect. It was just doing something annoying that I had to fix so that now it's not doing it anymore.

I just turn off the password remembering feature in Firefox. It tends to do more harm than good for me because I frequently log in to things from other computers and can't remember my password if it's automatically entered at home.
