I don't see the point with them anymore. In fact, I think it is better without them. That way, you can ask a question and if you did forget anything you don't have 10 posts saying "You forgot *insert option*".

We've gone this far without them. Why do we need them now?

Just my opinion at least. ¬_¬

I liked polls, especially the silly ones like "What's your favourite type of triangle?". Anyway, they're good for either-or type threads when you want to get the general opinion of the board. Stuff like dogs vs. cats, Coke vs. Pepsi, and so on.
