so I was playing through games I'd never heard of trying to find something to play, and this game is defenitely worth the play; it has pretty graphics, an awesome battle system, and the plot seems to revolve mostly around the battle system and being a blacksmith (woot) since those are 90% of the game anyways.

some screenshots:

Did I mention you get to smith weapons and shit? I love smithing weapons. Try it, its fun.

Then you will be happy to know that there is a number two....
Also, I got a bit bored partway through the game, but all in all, it is well built.
I like it.

Yes, that's a good game indeed, played it for a while, but then (and now) I got stuck midway through the plot with not knowing where a guy went off to.
The only reason I stopped playing it...

So what weapon type are you planning to use?

I am quite aware of that. I grabbed 1000-some (U) GBA roms yesterday. I decided to try out the first first because... well its the first.

I'm really liking the knuckles right now, although I keep a spear or an axe for air enemies and a sword or a drill for experimenting with other weapons.

I have a personal taste on all the weapons, in how I do / don't like them

Swords are just average, but I'm using one of them all the time...guess it's my preferred weapon.
Axes are good, but only to a certain degree. The Aqua Edge Axe is a preferred in its set.
The spears slow me down, and I don't get as much advantage as I'd like. Ignored category.
With even more SpeedDown, I avoided the drills period. I'll build them to know what's what, but I'm not using them.
I never was used to the fists, too close range for some reason. Maybe in a great moon I'll use one, but not now.

I don't boil my weapons back down, either. I keep them all, unless they break, then I rebuild them, since it's only the weapons I want to use that break (If you get how).

I have that and it was pretty fun game, my brother passed it. He's now in the middle of the second one.

In that case, does he remember where the Dragon Ore is supposed to go to? I know Guy is supposed to get it, but he moved, apparantly.
