Remember when some person on tas videos made a tas (tool assisted speedrun) of megaman x and megaman x 2 completed using one controller?

Well now another similar movie has been done. And this time it's four games at once!

Quite awesome if you ask me.

I've already got the AVI, and watched it three times now. It is that awesome.

I don't get why everyone is jacking off over this. Yes, it's a nice technical accomplishment, but it's completely unwatchable.

Naw, it's watchable all right, you just need to figure out when to look where for what goes on.
Not as entertaining, though. I'd like to see a movie not meant purely to speed through, but providing some extra entertainment along the way.

Someone actually made a thread about this? It's cool yes but you have to play music in the background and turn the sound off for the TAS (unless you use the .fcm, since then you'll only be watching 1 game at a time and won't have 4 different sets of music killing each other all at once).

For once in a freaking blue moon I'd have to agree with Kles.

Yes it sucks. There's a reason the rating's as low as it is. Concept was cool but the only one that did it right was the X and X2 one.

Yeah... impressive that he figured out how to make it work but loses a lot of points for style and loses a TON of points for ending the games one by one instead of all at the same time.

Hmm, sounds like it's inferior to the X and X2 one, that's a shame, I really liked that one. I've yet to watch it, I might later. It sounds like the guy wimped out not fighting the final bosses at the same time. Although with four different games, that would've been one hell of a feat to accomplish.

Hey. I've made a TAS of every video game in the world at the same time. Your computer needs an infinitillion TBs of RAM memory to open it and a 16700000000x13360000000 screen. If you watch the first game's run, then the second game's run, etc., you'll need 20001 years to see all of them.

HAVE FUN!

Meaning first revision (not edited). Cough cough.

Hmm... Seems like a somewhat interesting idea, but totally not worth the time to bother downloading it.

Technically, Xkeeper could use PMA and edit the database directly, which wouldn't make the "revision x" stuff appear...

SH...never give that kind of an idea to a community such as this where the idea may flourish and then run wild throughout the net...never...

Because some will do exactly that in 15 years with all SNES games of a certain genre via emulation just to piss you off.

Like everyone said, yes, it was a good accomplishment... just the end result sucked. It's just ear rape.

I don't know. I mean, I found it enjoyable, both in concept and to watch. Maybe I just am capable of dividing my attention out enough so that I can enjoy it... The only thing I'm missing is surround sound, to slightly better distinguish which game everything is coming from.

I'd love to see more things done like this.

I dunno, you can really see it all at once if you have the remnants of ADHD like me. I find it pretty entertaining.
