There is no such thing as too much Jack Sparrow, and even though there was too much Jack Sparrow at a few points in the film, there was still not enough Jack Sparrow.

Alot of people bitched about the 2nd one as well, I couldn't see what was so bad about it, and the same with this one, I love the environments portrayed in these films, always interesting. The characters, too.

Davy Jones = win.

The end.

Davy Jones = win.

The end.

I found a major flaw with that theory.

Spoiler:
Davy Jones = Dead = Game Over = Loser

I used to think Back to the Future was the best trilogy, but honestly after seeing this, I had to change my mind. This movie was a perfect end to the trilogy. Everyones stories finished. Unexpected things happened, and you weren't scratching your head at the end wondering what happened. I think it could have been longer. (Go read about the biggest deleted scene if you don't mind a spoiler.) If they would have kept the deleted scene, the story would be even more complete. I don't know how someone could say this was a bad movie.

I saw this with my girlfriend on wednesday.

The only part I enjoyed was the surreal dream-like scene where you first see Jack Sparrow again.

The rest of the time, I was just thinking either 'what the hell is going on?!' or 'when is this going to end?!'

I enjoyed the first film (and the second to an extent), but this was utterly terrible. A complete waste of £7, aside from the part where my girlfriend put my hand down her pants. That was alright.

But the rest sucked!

I always love the PotC series. Of course I watch each thing more than once since they always get you confused unless you watch it twice. I heard that they are in mid-filming of the 4th one already (yayz!). My favorite part of the 3rd one was:
Spoiler:
Davy Jones' Locker when the Rock Crabs hijack his ship.

I really don't understand how this movie was hard to follow. I was never confused through the entire movie.

They aren't in the middle of filming the 4th one. They aren't even making another one.

Well Jerry Bruckheimer and Johnny Depp are both up for a 4th movie. I bet we will see a 4th movie happen. They just have to finish the script.

Wait, a 4th one?

If they want to, they probably will. More $ for them.

I can't see a fourth happening, it sounds like Depp isn't interested (and Kiera Knightley says she'll only do it if the other stars do). But who knows, maybe it's already in the works and they're keeping it TOP SECRET.

I liked this one a lot, but it wasn't my favorite PotC movie. Considering how big of a fan I am, it could have totally sucked and I wouldn't have complained. But it was good, IMO, and I want to see it again just to make sure I didn't miss anything. It's pretty packed in terms of content and everything going on.

I loved the first one, one of the best movies overall that I've ever seen. The second one felt like a setup for a sequel the whole way, so it wasn't nearly as good. Needless to say, I'm going to see this one too (tomorrow I hope.)
