Every time I try to test my wireless internet connection, I get error code #52230. But when I connect to the internet on my DS, it works fine! What's the problem? |

The two people I know that have Wii's connected to Wifi say that their Wii's connection has always been extraordinarily finicky. It took them both days if not an entire week trying to get a connection established. One friend ended up moving his wireless router from his bed room to right next to his wii in the living room.
My other friend I think ended up buying a wireless network extender thingy, since his Wii just would not find the router unless it was literally 15 feet away. I really hope you come up with a better solution, I'd hate to see another Wii give headaches since they are just so damn fun. |

After enough problems, I ended up getting the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector.
Although it sometimes goes down (hard to tell because I have Comcast internet and Comcast sucks). Other than that, it works pretty swell. |

Posted by TrapsterPosted by Sgraff87 I have to disable my firewall protectors to get it work. If you have something like McAfee, disable it. |

My Wii's connection was really slow and finicky until I put my router on top of a foam pad. Yes, 2-3 inches of clearance above the top of my computer desk made a world of difference. ____________________ [citation needed] |
