Gurren Lagann is basically the movie 300 in giant robot anime form. Well, they don't have the same plot of course, but that's irrelevant because Gurren Lagann contains all the epic manliness of 300. Its like if King Leonidas and one of the other Spartans were given giant robots and that hot oracle was given a huge gun.
Seriously, its that epic. Gainax truly outdid themselves with this series. Highly reccomended. on a scale of 1-10, it is awesome. |
