I'm saying it was a hoax, although I have seen a more recent thing spreading around for a different Golden Sun DS. I'll check to see if I can find the site I saw it on again, although it didn't really look all that much like Golden Sun(This is judging squarely based on the title screen, mind you). I really do hope for a third Golden Sun game, although it is rather unlikely.
EDIT: I have located it, or atleast where I found the screens at. Thread at The Golden Sun Realm, as I said, it doesn't look very Golden Sun-y, and it kinda looks like they grabbed the transfer cartridges off the 2005 screens. ____________________ There are things I want to put here. Like a cool picture, my 8-bit theatre character test result, my MS and RO characters... But it's 12 AM, and I'm sleepy. |

At minimum one of them is a fake (they both claim to have different titles ). Most likely both of them are fakes though (if they weren't this would be everywhere, especially in gaming magazines). ____________________ |

I hope to god there IS a real one at some point. The second game was such a huge disappointment that I really need that third game Camelot claimed would exist all along (it was originaly supposed to be a trilogy of games...) |

Posted by Keitaro So even after discovering the first game was such a shitheap, you still held the hope the the sequel would be worth playing? Optimist till the end, eh? Ah yes, I predict this game, if ever released, will suck ass, being that it's a Golden Sun game, and that's what Golden Sun games do. |

I thought the second was far superior to the first, but I liked both of them, they're good RPGs. ____________________ There are things I want to put here. Like a cool picture, my 8-bit theatre character test result, my MS and RO characters... But it's 12 AM, and I'm sleepy. |

Those were very good games Is there any reason you think that they do suck Adamant or are you just trying to be rebelious D8 |

Wow, so everyone liked those things apart from me, eh? I've certainly seen enough criticism of them elsewhere, but...
Why I don't like them? Well, let's see. *Plot is dull and rarely goes anywhere, instead choosing to diverge into a set of mini-quests that have nothing to do which each other or the plot as a whole. *Too god damn much talking about pointless crap. Conversations can last about ten minutes even if you're hammering the A button to get them over with (and then you get thrown into a boss fight before getting the option to save, so if you die, you have to go through all that babbling again. *The magic system is dull, magic rarely deals much more damage than regular attacks, and all enemies are extremely easy anyway. *Challenge is non-existant, with the sole exception of the final boss in Lost Age, who opts to be cheap as hell instead. Enemies are extremely unmemorable, acting as random fodder you don't care about at all. *The djinn-class system would've been a tad more inteesting if you didn't get the best results from putting all djinni of a certain element on the corresponding player. *8 playable characters, but the only difference between the two different adepts of an element is which djinni they have equipped. *While on the subject of djinni, that's all that really matters in the game. Djinni that up your stats (or throw up a shield or whatever) or reduce opponents stats (or screw up their battle prowess in some other manner) are to be spammed at a regular basis against bosses, before summons are made to deal major damage. Few bosses are able to live through a barrage of summons powered by all the djinni available at the time, and if they do.. well, djinni become reset not too long after being used, so you'll be able to summon more death and destruction quickly enough. |

Posted by AdamantThey dropped the ball a bit on that category, but... That is not truly the case. The problem is merely that the ones you're likely to find without a while of experimenting suck. |

Maybe it wasn't very challenging for you, Adamant, but I sure had a hell of a time beating the game ____________________ I dealt with it. |

Actually adamant, I too thought golden sun was full of shit and lose. I didn't want to bother mentioning it because I thought it would be trollish and unnecessary. ____________________ |

The puzzles were hard. Well, hard until you figured them out.
It was fun though, I still hate "ELEMENT"rock though. :/ Edit: Heh, this game looks to be one of those, you loved it, or you hate it games. ____________________ |
