I'm curious about Eureka Seven for the silliest of reasons -- Apple references.

Mostly I seem to like Studio Ghibli stuff lately (both Miyazaki and Takahata's work).

Is Megas XLR actually anime?

Megas XLR is pseudo-amine, same with Kappa Mikey.

Megas XLR was pretty good.. shame that they cancelled it only after like 26 episodes or so.

Yes, it's a movie by Studio Ghibli / Hayao Miyazaki.

If you like it, some other films you might like are Spirited Away, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and Princess Mononoke.

I've been watching Maison Ikkoku lately. Probably the best romance, ever.

All three of which are the the top of my list of favorite anime. Heck, Mononoke may very well be my favorite movie of all time. It was just so.....good ;x really, no other way to put it.

"Samurai X - Trust and Betrayal" is a pretty good movie as well. Surprisingly, I really don't like the Ruroni Kenshin series much at all, yet I absolutely loved this movie. Only movie that has ever made me close to crying. Its really that good (and sad..)

Just know that the Kenshin manga is LEAPS beyond the series. Hell, the 3rd season of the series is nothing but fillers, and completely doesn't follow the manga at all. Which is a shame.

The manga is incredible.

And Mononoke rocked, as well as Nausica and Castle in the Sky.

My old neighbor showed me a fansub of Ebichu the Housekeeping Hamster.

Comic GOLD. I still look around stores to see if they've been translated, to no avail.

Cowboy Bebop, and Hellsing. Number one and number two favorite (and only) animes I've ever seen.

I saw Hellsing many many many years ago, and I thought nothing could top that. Then for one reason or another, I decided to see CB two years ago, and I'm convinced that nothing will top that. Ever.

Hmm. Within these past 4 months I have watched:

-Afro Samurai
-Samurai Champloo
-Gundam Wing
-Neon Genesis Evangelion

Only Afro Samurai was a new series, everything else was either a second viewing of it (Samurai Champloo) or the 15th (Gundam Wing; Eva)

I own the director's cut of Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal and Akira.

Aside from that I usually just download my anime if it kicks or stick to manga.

I am huge fan of manga. Can't get enough of it. hence why I have seen so few anime series over these past months. Now for manga read these past 4 months, well, number probably surpasses a dozen different series.

Complete and commented list of the anime series I watched, in roughly chronological order:

Shakugan no Shana, as talked into by knuck, Nick and candrodor. While it was a little cliché and had its weak points, it still kind of made me dump most of my really bad preassumptions about anime

The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. Main problem I saw with that one was that it lacked depth; the animation and overall production quality were awesome though and I must say it was quite entertaining.

Utawarerumono. Still my favourite due to awesome plot and music.

Zero's Familiar. Ugh. I have no idea why I didn't drop that after the first episode, but it was something along the lines of me being really, really bored. Oh well, at least it was short.

Higurashi no naku koro ni. While the quality of it dropped a little in the middle, it still was awesome. A definitive must-watch.

.hack//SIGN. Watched that one because I was curious of what it was Emuz was so badly obsessed with. I liked it, but I kind of can understand people who say the plot development was slow. Hell, it was a rarity if something besides talking happened once in three episodes.

.hack//Legend of the Twilight Bracelet. Meh. Highly generic.

Code Geass. While the graphical style/animation quality is meh to odd, the character depth, overall scenario and most prevalently the music are awesome. Still running though.

FLCL. Sent to me by Emuz less than a week ago, it was trippy, weird and really fun.

It is of that show.

I just have it as a temp avatar until I find something else.

Also, like I said I read more manga than I watch anime.

One Piece is one of the manga series I read. I don't watch the show. Same goes for many others like Naruto, Bleach, Berserk, Hellsing, Eyeshield 21, Death Note, Full Metal Alchemist, etc..

They're a bit bloody, but I think that they're more artfully played out than the Ruroni Kenshin series.

I got 2 Seasons of InuYasha and I like it too. 2 Seasons of Ranma½ (favorite) which I have finished. It´s hard to find good torrents. Yes, I´m a pirate and proud of it.

I´ve seen Megas XLR on TV and the dub was actually pretty good. I like it.

I got Full Metal Panic, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Full Metal Alchemist and more on my computer but haven´t watched much of those. I´ve watched some Love Hina and I liked it. Unfortunately, I never got further than a few episodes.

As for manga, One Piece is probably my favorite right now. Started to buy the books recently. And I´m gonna buy all of them.

Anime: Samurai Champloo, Wolf's Rain
Manga: Lucky Star
-It's hilarious!

I don't know HOW Eureka Seven got a "win". The whiney nervous kid annoyed me so much I watched PAX to keep my mind from frying. That's how much I hated it.
