A little off topic, but I heard some dude in South Korea fulfilled his army service requirement by playing starcraft. Wow, there are certainly a lot of revivals of franchises going on. (Fallout 3, Starcraft 2, GTA...) It's funny that the surge of games this academic year(that's how my internal calendar works) parallels a summer filled with sequels and book/comic/etc. to film adaptations.

Well SC is still wildly popular over there, and they're still doing televised matches. Guys stop their "careers" (if you would call it that) all the time to go into the armed forces, then just come back in a year or so.
