Well, after many, many tries, Tanks and I got a decent game of Contra in, in which I died many times by not being able to keep up with him on the waterfall stage. He is the victor of this match. Congratulations Tanks.  ____________________ There are things I want to put here. Like a cool picture, my 8-bit theatre character test result, my MS and RO characters... But it's 12 AM, and I'm sleepy. |

also as a side note, the official NES emu should not be Jnes but Nestopia 1.36 (NOT .37) it runs better, unless you're running linux or something << ____________________ |

I will back up Tanks on this, JNes is not fun to use, and Nestopia 1.37 seems to have this obnoxious bug that like hit random buttons that you aren't hitting while online. 1.36 is most certainly the way to go. ____________________ I miss post headers more. |

Blah, you should've said 1.36, I have both .36 AND .37, I didn't know that was an exclusive problem with .37! Oh well, you won by far anyway as soon as we got to the waterfall. And I must also say that Jnes does not work, I can never stay synched for more than a minute with it. ____________________ There are things I want to put here. I'm actually not too sure if it's a bug, or if it's one of those other 20something configurations that come preset with Nestopia (Power Pad, Other Controllers, all that jazz) but whatever. If anyone wants to get online with little hassle and just play (despite the supposed netplay fixes with 1.37) then use Nestopia 1.36.
Nestopia is truly a godsend though, me and Tanks once played a game for about an hour and then left it on pause for about another hour and still we never desynced. Very nice emulator, everyone should use it for whatever means (besides rom hacking though). ____________________ I miss post headers more. |

Well, I use Linux and Nestopia does not work under wine or cxoffice. Jnes does, and I've never had a problem with Jnes and desynching. As of now, there is no kaillera client for linux.

The prize will be determined when we get to the Finals. We will go into the Finals when we are down to 4 players.
Next set of matches start tonight. For the guys who haven't got their match in, I will randomly pick the winner if you don't have it finished by 7 pm EST tonight. Also, the official emulator is Jnes, but you and your opponent can agree to another, which it seems most of the players have, and their choice has been nestopia. The only reason its not the official is because it doesn't work on Linux, and therefore can't be the supported emulator. -okibi |

UPDATE:
Drag lost to Okibi. I beat NightKev. Noah lost to Violet. Remaining people are Violet, me and Okibi. It is well established that Violet is very good at Dr. Mario and if she gets to pick the match (If I don't get the byeweek) then it's pretty much over for us. I beat okibi, but he used a stupid translated ROM so it was hell to even get us synced.
