I'm just throwing this out there, because I know it used to be a popular idea on the old board. Anybody want to start up a tourney? Or maybe just one round? Or possibly a different game entirely. I was just hoping to start something back up. The Bombbliss thread seems to have been ignored, and I haven't heard much about OpenTTD lately... ____________________ What sig? I don't have a sig.  |

Heh, I remember a TA tournament was what brought me to Ace's board way back in '03. Never did get to participate though. 
If my connection doesn't crap out too much, I'd be up for one, as long as it doesn't end up like the Bombliss tourney and die due to inactive players.  |

I doubt it'd finish.
I doubt even more that you want to deal with facing Hiryuu. Ranko. Whatever he is this week. In Time Trial, I can generally do 6k-15k, and apparently I'm a bastard in Vs. Not great, but annoying. |

I'm pretty good at both TT and Vs. I used to be ranked on tetrisattack.net, but I think they've knocked all my scores off but one or two.

Actually, Thexare, with the people present now, I wouldn't take such a tournament.
And, back in my prime, I was a little bit better than I am now. I used to get 30K, which still doesn't compare to some of the ones you'd see around here anymore. The only reason I would say 'no' to something like this, which I am, is because these kind of tournaments tend to never be finished. That's why I decomissioned my Bombliss one because the interest sank. That's not to say I wouldn't socially like to try to kick someone around in a game, either. |

And I'd be willing to join, or at least play a few rounds, if my network wasn't even shitter than normal lately. But I don't like getting five disconnections in about as many minutes, and I can never predict when it's going to start doing that... |

I don't know my real skill in this game actually, becouse never bothered to play it online and the few people I played aganist weren't too good... I know I can easily defeat the computer...
Becouse I concentrate in surviving and do long and the slowlest possible chains, my time trials records don't go beyond 7k or so...
