What do you guys think about LoZ: TP?
I thought it had a great storyline and amazing graphics (Even for a Gamecube)

What is there not to say? The game keeps you hooked...until the only thing left is to collect more souls, which I found to be too much of a chore.

One time, I had a friend play it, and they had made it into the...woods, can't remember the name, but when you were looking for the Master Sword. He found that thing with the trumpet, name unknown to me, and gave chase. It took him a bit, though, since he attacked all the puppets. When he did find guy, he was about to blow his trumpet, and when he did, the wolf was upon him...and the game froze right on impact!

There needed to be more stuff to spend your rupees on. Goddamn, money was way too plentiful in that game.

That's what you say. I remember in previous Zelda games, I only used Rupees when it was 100% nessesary. Oracle of Ages, only for the Cart Shooting. Although I could've bought that Rock Brisket...was it called that?

Wind Waker's wallets went all the way up to 5,000 rupees. What happened in Twilight Princess to drop the maximum back to 1,000?

You mean the Sacred Grove? I've actually completed the game like 4 times already

Sacred Grove, that sounds right. Probably because it is/will be right.

But still, froze right when the trumpet sounded off against the wolf's fangs. Pretty bad, eh?

Yeah it is

*coughs*

Anyway, I tried the game for a bit, but I never got into Zelda, when I was younger, I played it on my NES and it never caught on.

The music was good, but it just couldn't compare to Wind Waker. Wind Waker was just win. ... Despite the sailing.

You know what really bothered me? Getting a blue or yellow rupee for the first time after each power-on. god that got annoying "lol stoppd u got 5 rupe yai"

I haven't played the GCN version, but the Wii is just so flexible. The lack of buttons ironically adds flexibility, when I compare the controls to Wind Waker's.

Although it kinda bothered me that the Wii version is mirrored... What happened to just mirroring/changing only Link's polygons? It couldn't've taken that long, right?

YES. This annoys me very much so. Aside, I really like the game, but haven't finished it yet. I'm on the last level though. The mirroredness doesn't bother me too much, it just strikes me as pointless. And the option of mirroring link gives me an idea: Choose righty or lefty, like in wii sports?

Loved it, one of the only recent games that really "pulled me in".

But yeah, it lacked a lot of items and usefulness with all those wasted Rupee's.

I didn't think the music was all too Zelda-y. The biggest Zelda theme was Epona's little thing ._.

It's a good game, surprisingly long, but it just doesn't feel like a good Zelda. Needs more Oracle of Seasons <3

I played the Gamecube one. Was almost at the second dungeon, but bored the entire trip.

I think I may now know how other people felt about Zelda 2/Majora's Mask/Windwaker...

The game is entirely too slow at the start, sure. But it gets better after the halfway point.

I totally understand anyone who quits before that, though, because the between-dungeon parts are a real chore. This doesn't even come close to the title of best Zelda.

But hey, the dungeons are superawesome. City in the Sky is my favorite Zelda dungeon.

Overall I found it a pretty good game but it didn't motivate me enough to pick it back up once I've completed it. And I've tried.

I played through the first four dungeons on new years (on my cousin's Wii) in seven hours

I rented it last week and played through the first two dungeons, and it's just as awesome playing it through the second time.

The right hand doesn't bother me, because I don't hold the remote in my left hand for Zelda anyways, it's backwards compared to every other gaming controller
I just can't do anything with the controls in opposite hands =P

Personally, it ties with Ocarina of Time for the best Zelda game ever in my opinion (never played the original NES ones however) The storyline was awesome, and few characters compare to Midna.

I do agree with other comments in this thread about the music - the dungeon music was especially lacking. The only one remotely close to interesting was the Palace of Twilight theme because of the eerie sound.

For those who haven't played it, it's definitely one to buy - it won't disappoint

Like every other Zelda game that isn't Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Wind Waker, or Minish Cap, it just doesn't keep me entertained.

I don't hate it or anything, but it just doesn't really do anything for me, either.
