Apparently, if you hold shift and double click somewhere, what you clicked on will disappear . This includes text and images, although apparently it doesn't effect table borders or backgrounds. (Note: I'm referring to Firefox here. On any website.)

It appears that this is a feature of the Adblock extension. It lets you quickly hide elements on a page that you don't want to see.

It's the first result in a quick Google search for "shift double click firefox".

I only found this out because I accidentally double clicked (while holding shift) on some text I wanted to delete from the reply box, but the reply box disappeared.
