I know, I know ... this thread gets remade after practically every single "new board beginning", but what the heck?

Mines a little weird I guess. Originally I went by the terribly uncreative name of MasterSephiroth, and eventually decided "Hey, FFVII isn't that great compared to so many other RPG's, and this name is unoriginal" so I was out to think of something cool.

Originally I was going for some kind of Latin or Egyptian term that referenced to a god or something, but that didn't work out too well. Then one day I just picked up my dictionary and started browsing around the X's (because X's are cool?). Eventually, out of my own whim I just said "Hey, Xeogred"!

Since then, although more on my board, I've changed my name probably 300+ times. Usually I keep "Xeo" in the name somewhere (often at the beginning, because it seems like Xeo- can go with just about anything). But in the end, Xeogred is my ultimate username.

Fun fact: My first AIM screename back in the day was PhantomFF7 ... ugh.

I am no Simpsons fan (I doubt I've seen five episodes), but that's where my name came from. It started about three years ago, when I began saying "boo" a lot whenever something displeased me. One of my friends heard me say it so often that he began calling me BooUrns. I decided I'd go with it, mainly because I couldn't come up with anything better.

I was unable to think of anything else at the time of registration, and didn't want to use my usual alias, "System Error". It works fine as well, as it is simple and quite easy to remember.

I was growing tired of my old alias which was Outlaw.

I wanted something new but could not think of anything. One day as I was at a friend's house, a music video of the song "Thoughtless" was being aired at the moment.

I liked it and thus from that moment on I used it. I am surprised on how long it was stayed. I have changed it only a few times but it was never a permanent change.

Well, let's see...I've orignally had this name 6 years ago under the alias of Black Skull Dragoshi, when I used to be a Yu-Gi-Oh! fantard. I matured over time, though still kept the name as itstuck to me. I then decided to drop the 'Black Skull' part around...2006, and just stuck to Dragoshi. So, yea.

It all started with DBZ. I created my own fan comic when I was ten. After Bulla was born, I pictured Vegeta and Bulma having a son a new son named Tenks (stolen from the fusion guy Gotenks). I eventually thought it was stupid and switched over to my own comic ideas. I started to use "Tanks" as his name now, along with his friend Mach. I finally got out of comic making but I still use Tanks to represent me in small doodles in my school notebooks and stuff like that. That's basically the origin of my alias. This might fix the confusion of people thinking my name is bassed on the plural form of a popular weapon of war (but I don't object to the thought of it though).

I've been using MaxKnight for almost 8 years now. I began with it on RPGamer's old-style Message Boards, derived from a love Final Fantasy Tactics.

Needless to say, I've developed a character out of him. Maximilion McKnight, of the class Frost Swordsman. He's capable of enchanting his blade with varying degrees of cold magic. He channels an ice elemental, and when pressed, can actually summon one to occupy his body and take over the fight in order to protect him. He requires 12 hours rest after such incident, though.

Makes for a great story, and an excellent intro for an RP character, no?

In SoTN it is kinda useless ,which sucks if you read the article on it. ;.;
Some other games I play it's super powerful though, but usually curses you to some extent.

Keitaro from Love Hina, people used to say I was like him in personality and at the height of my LH fandom, I took the alias as my own. MajinBlueDragon was from when I saw a bunch of people trolling a chatroom with the names MajinGreen, Orange, Red, etc dragon so I registered Blue to bust their chops

the name eventualy stuck with me and I just sorta...yeah. Heh ;x
