My finals start in 2 weeks. At our school, if you pass the standarized tests that we took last month and you are passing the course, then you are exempt from taking the final exam. I know my Chemistry teacher is making us take the test for the class even if we are exempt from the test.
I plan on not coming to class on the classes I'm exempt from taking the finals. There really is no point in going if you know you are not going to do anything there. Plus, I can afford an absence because I've only been absent once this semester. You can only have 9 absences before you lose credit for a class.  |

I have Regents exams coming up in June, hopefully I can pass them (Physical Science (basically chemistry and physics), Trigonometry, Geography, English, and German) 
At least I won't have any more sciences, English or German after this, so I'm looking forward to my half-day schedule next year  |

Finals here can also come in the form of really big projects.
For Social Studies, we did projects throughout the entire year, every quarter. Now we have to mush em all together. Since i didnt have many mistakes, i didnt have to do much, but other people had to almost completly redo them all. Its due tommorow 
Then, in Science, we had am project due today over the universe. Had to talk about a bunch of stuff, then finish it up with a scale diagram of the solar system, and a persuasive paragraph on what we think Pluto should be. We took a Math final yesterday. 15% of our grade. It felt like another CRCT or Gateway, cause it was in some big booklet, and we did it on those scantron books. Nothing in Language Arts so far. No finals, as far as i know, but we are reading a book, and shes probably going to make us do something having to do with it. |

How do you get negative points?
I remember one assignment in social studies way back where I got the highest grade in the class, a 65%. The teacher didn't believe in curves though. |
