Just bought this game last night and I gotta say I'm really impressed. I played Theme Park World (or Sim Theme Park as it's called in the US) on my Playstation and I didn't expect it to be much better than that, and it's actually got almost the exact same features as that, such as hiring staff, and investing in research for new rides and shops. The music is also pretty well done, there's a great feel to the game and making your park get bigger and bigger, and it's fun using the stylis to place stuff in the park.

I give it a good 9/10

Anyone else played it?

I'm reeeally hoping they release Theme Hospital for the DS too; that's one of my favourite games ever

I've never played Theme Park but if it's like Theme Hospital then it should be good.

I played the port on the Playstation, but I never could get into it. A few years later I got it on the DS, and not only does it have mini tutorials to help out the more inept business players, it overall feels better on a handheld.

I hate picking it up and then not being able to turn it off until at least one more year has gone by

Yeah, RCT is pretty nice. I got it for free in a cereal box.

Someone really needs to do an open-source clone of RCT...

My thoughts exactly. I'd call it "OpenRCT".
