and again I question why a list of facts is presented in a video, whatever happened to good ol' text.

or maybe I should have recorded myself saying that so you could wonder why I didn't just fucking type it

What's the point of this video?

Way to go, you can exaggerate facts and present them one after another in such a way to exaggerate the context. Good job. College organizations (as in ones that bash the circus for accidents, and ones that bash petsmart and stuff for having puppy 'factories', and other such stupid things) use this all the time.

In short, it's just a bunch of "lolshock" propaganda in order to bash something...

Almost like getting a dog to take its vitamins by sticking it in meat.
-Dog = Average YouTube viewer
-Vitamins = Insightful message
-Meat = YouTube video

I doubt anyone with a low attention span would appreciate good ol' text.
Bear in mind I'm not saying all of this is entirely true but it makes you think and it's nice to have some material to chew on every now and then. Unfortunately these things tend to be rare outside of the library, which is why I appreciate it all the more.

Give me some statistics about stuff, and I could bend and twist them to say whatever I want them to say. That's how these places come up with such crazy "facts".

Some dogs are smart enough to detect the vitamins or medicine, and spit them out instead of swallowing them. xD My old labrador did, although she is probably smarter than the average Youtube viewer... ;P

Well I got sick of it after 20 seconds.

Becuse I started to wonder where the facts came from... and they don't feel very indepth.

"Of X people in Y country, there's Z amount of people like you."

Huh, in what ways?

Yeah, the video is retarded propaganda, but it at leasts puts to light the inevitable, albeit in a very exaggerated fear-mongering way.

Explosive population growth and technological advancement is nothing new, unless you consider 300 years ago as new. Population of the planet went from like 1.5 billion in 1900 to 6 billion in 2000.

As for China and India with their explosively ambitious economies and billions of people they will inevitably outcompete certain economic sectors that were once monopolized by Western countries. Just got to find ways to outcompete them back. And don't worry too much, America, they've still got plenty of problems of their own to cope with, namely the gazillions of poor people they're tempted to sweep under the rug.

The bit on the computers having more computing power than the human brain (and then later the human race) made me laugh. It's obvious they are trying to provoke some kind of "oh know computers will over run humanity one day" feeling.
