Wasn't the DS version the illegal one?
I thought the PSP version was the only one to have approval...whenever that's coming out. Be nice if it had some new stuff in it if it ever does come out, otherwise it's pretty pointless to buy shit free. |

Supposedly the PSP one got approval, but because the game is freeware anyways, a port to DS that is not profit cannot be done anything about by Pixel. But just to be safe, it was indeed passed with Pixel.
In fact, the guy making this started a fund to get pixel a DS, as he still doesn't have one. ____________________ I miss post headers more. |

I didn't know what the story was. I was just hoping to heck that it was ported to the point of prequel/sequel. It was good enough to warrant one that was done -right-. There's been enough fan hacks of it at the Doukutsu Uploader, at least. |

Heh.
Apparently some stuff in Cave Story is hardcoded Direct X, so he is working on replicating it on the DS, but he promises that it will be a pixel perfect representation and will look no different at all. Down to the fuggin' pixel. Pretty slick that he's that dedicated 
I am so looking forward to this to be finished, I can't get it off my mind. EDIT: Because I am a total loser and didn't see it until not even an hour after making this, apparently a newer demo with Quote playable has been released. Time to try and make a new movie! EDIT EDIT: Quick test and compare shows that colliding with enemies is good and set, but Quote falls too fast and runs too fast. But he is aware of these and they will be fixed. I will make a video for this new one sometime tomorrow. ____________________ I miss post headers more. |

The DS version was the one that got approval, the PSP version had permission problems. DS version was originally going to be a GBA version, until the author switched to DS. ____________________ |
