Homeschooling > "normal" schools, by a mile.

I dunno, I'm home schooled and really, I hate the lack of seeing people my age. Then again, paint ball is a frigging blast, so I guess I'm just bitching. But lack of socialization is a problem with homeschooling, I say.

Which is why you get friends outside of school!

My only problem with schooling is that there's too much focus on "what happened then" (i.e., the exact shade of turd George Washington released in 1776) and not enough on "what's happening now".

Just last week I "learned" that ol' GW died of syphilis that spread to his brain. Yikes.

And I learned not to look at a picture of that stuff while eating pizza.

Eh, except in Quebec. You don't need a lot of money at ALL (maybe $400/year max?) to go to college - then again, the hierarchy goes high school -> college -> uni.

So what's the difference between college and uni? They're one in the same here... unless you go to a junior college, which isn't actually a "university."

College is ridiculously expensive here.

It's not as bad as some other places.

Paintballing sucks, really. I did it once and never again.

Well, then again, it was like 150F inside, and you have to wear something thick unless you want lots of bruises

Temperate climates FTW!

Although I never done paintball. I did laser doom once, which was kinda fun...

It was here. It hasn't physically snowed in a bit, but the amount of amassed left-over snow is pretty large. That's New England in the winter for you ;x

The snow by my house is *finally* melting. It's been sitting on the ground for weeks, and today was the first day with a high above freezing. I hope all the rest melts tomorrow.

I'd like to say this: School sucks.

wtf, aren't you homeschooled >8(

So? 8DS

SO YOU CANNOT POSSIBLY COMPLAIN ABOUT SCHOOL WHEN YOU ARE THE ONLY STUDENT.

I am surrounded by 3500 dumbasses when I go to school.

Now doesn't that make you feel brilliant.

When I DID go to school, there were only 350 people there and that was more than I could handle in terms of retards, but 3500? That almost seems like McSchool to me. Probably really flashy and obnoxious. Uck.

Today was 45 (Fahrenheit), and it felt almost like spring. There's something refreshing about a major temperature jump and giant piles of snow and ice steadily melting all over town. It's much more pleasant than seeing the leftover snow congealed into dirty crust at the side of the road.

My school has about 4000 people. What do you expect of people?

Ooh, a town square. Never seen one of these before.
Hmm... so... i'm selling doritos and cakes at 20 coins each. Who wants them?

I've never tried paintballing, sadly...?

It's $10000 a year at the UCs. Private universities are far more expensive.

I'll have to experiment tomorrow and see if my high school's filters let me get to the new site. acmlm.org was blocked, but maybe acmlm.no-ip.org won't be.
