A few years ago, southern California experienced rolling blackouts almost daily, for most of the summer... those were retarded. It interrupted my day EVERY SINGLE DAY. If the idiots around here can't conserve energy, they'll force us to. Gah.

Here's a thread I never thought I'd see die.

Maybe it's time to close up shop here at the Square?

No, it's just that the other topic stagnated

Here, I'll invent one. Has anyone played a N64 game called Mischief Makers? It was one of my favorite games as a kid, but I could never beat world 5

Another game I thought looked cool in Nintendo Power and have always wanted to play since.

Hey look I made a new topic.

I'm on Blue Storm. They all look pretty much the same, and blue is my favourite of the colours available that doesn't burn my eyes, so... Missing some of the old themes though. Kafuka, and whatever the hell I used to use, I don't remember its name.

It was like that in Lahore(Pakistan) when I went last summer. Every day periods of no electricity/water. I don't know what has changed.

It's kinda weird considering Lahore is a very Westernized city. Western themed restaurants laden with vestiges of the past, Pakistanis dressed as cowboys.

I use the standard skin, but I'll change to a better one should it arise.

I remember renting Mischief Makers several times years ago. I loved the levels, the blocks, the enemies, (especially the blobs with hats), and most everything else about it. It was too difficult for me, though. I didn't get very far.

We rarely ever have blackouts. The longest we've ever been without power was for under 12 hours (overnight) during a hurricane. Normally if the power goes out, it's for a few seconds or a minute, accompanied by transformer sounds.

I played that game once, and I could never get it out of my head.
I remember odd, and probably non-existant details of the game six years later

As for skins, I use Fragmentation (Cold water variety)

I am one of the proud members who uses the Fish theme. Only because it reminds me of your mother.

See above.

A "laggy" version of fish would be awesome, though. Heh.
Also, WHO WANTS FRESH VEGETABLES? Heh.

Hey, guess what the weather currently is where I live. Smoke. The entire day has reeked of burnt charcoal and my throat is still sore from being sick and this isn't helping.

I guess that's what happens when you have 260 near-simultaneous fires on a windy day.

I use Fragmentation because I like the color blue. I've used it ever since it was a "secret" option in Tinasitter before it appeared in the edit profile Theme menu.

Whereas, for me:

Tina> Henderson, NV: Boring, 89°F (31.7°C) - Forecast: Clear; High: 91°F (32.8°C), Low: 66°F (18.9°C)

Mm. So much for that high of "87" they said...
