We had... 4 snow days this year I think, so we didnt get the last friday of March off... oh well D:

But yeah... for some reason this county is really bad at calling snow-days. One year, it was called and it never snowed. Another, there were still 5 inches with an inch of ice, and we went on time... Yeesh

Well I'm finally reinstalling Windoze again. It's at the point that the system tray is freezing randomly, causing me to stay up late because I look at the clock and think "meh, it's only 1:30" when it's really 4:00. Never seen that one before.

Speaking of which my laptop still doesn't get this whole DST thing, and is an hour ahead.

Wow, that sucks. I never head of the system tray freezing for 2 hours before. Thats insane. But that also proves that to get rich you have to think cheap.

And our school computers do the 1 hour ahead, except mine.

I wish I had that problem. I absolutely cannot stand the cold weather, and snow just makes it worse because I have to shovel it.

I would take snow over this boring old sun (day after day after day) any day. I live in Texas

There is STILL snow here that's been here since October. It's finally melting, though. If this is Northern Alberta I can't even imagine the Northwest Territories. Is that really considered inhabitable land?

My thoughts exactly. It's unheard of. Bill Gates net worth: $56 billion. XP net worth: probably negative

It recently rained here for the first time in a few weeks. Every other day it's just been dry heat. Right about now I'd wish it would rain every day for a week. But it won't.

Snow would be nice, but it's only snowed here once in over 100 years...

It snows here about once a year on average. Sometimes it doesn't snow, sometimes it goes up to 3, but that only happened once.
When it rains, it's either quick or lengthy, usually. Rare to find a medium-length downpour. The longest streak without rain was about 5 weeks, maybe, but that ended with a week of two separate rainfalls.

There's a vacant house across the street. The information might be inaccurate.

It snowed here 4-5 years ago. It melted by noon.

Despite not getting snow (ever), we usually get down to the mid-30s to upper-40s during the winter. It's already warming up to 70-80 by midday.

Our biome is apparently coastal grasslands. I guess it makes sense [to not have snow], since we're part of the San Francisco Bay Area.

It also rains a whole lot during winter. After that, we get almost no rain. And then it's winter again.

It's been raining almost 48 hours non-stop here. Tomorrow it's supposed to clear up, but then it's going to rain again on Thursday. I don't really mind though. I prefer cloudy days to sunny days, and I like the sound of rain. For some reason the sun makes me depressed when I see it.

Yeah, I like clouds and rain too. I like the sun if it's making things warmer and not too hot, but I vastly prefer cloudy days.

Rain is awesome when it happens during the summer. If it happens during a cold winter, then I really don't like that much.

Rain and thunderstorms are great, but it seems that they only happen in the middle of the night! It's snow that I hate. December and February we had two mega-blizzards that buried our state in snow... Other states too. One was on Dec. 1st, anyone remember that? I absolutely HATE being stranded in the driveway.

I like the rain. It just creates a certain atmosphere that is unexplainable but calming. I would have to agree that I definitely don't care for snow though. Shoveling my drive way=

Yep, rain > snow.

The thing I don't like about thunderstorms is the inconenience they cause. Not having a car, I can't go anywhere without risking getting struck by lightning (I still go to school and work, but nowhere else), and after my dad fried a modem during a thunderstorm way back, I don't go online.

Other than that, they're pretty cool...
