So as me and the IRCrew were discussing the other day...
Why are they called Town Squares? I think the next ATS should be called Acmlm's Town Spamhole or Acmlm's Town Circle.
That is, if there is a new one, I don't expect to see AcmIIm's to come crashing down any time soon, unless it is brought by the ||boardigans.

Even so, I hope someone is making backups.

The lowest-numbered town square I remember is 4. I think it started because there used to be the ACS, which was the top 10 posters of each day getting points for their rank over a month, and there was a thread in which Colin would post that day's ACS results every day. That thread would have discussion about the ACS and rankings but also a lot of random general discussion. At some point, either the powers that be decided to split the general discussion into a separate thread, or people wanted that "general" thread during the time in 2004 that had no ACS.

Amusingly enough, the ACS thread served little purpose beyond Colin posting the ranks; people still had random discussions in it...

Why? So you can get something to rant about daily?

The ACS never did me any good. It'd just make for some SPAM Sandwiches. Which are alright with mustard. But don't try it with these, or it'll fry your monitor. Consequently, don't eat the things, either.

	IMO, I think we're doing okay without the ACS being around. Sure, in its prime, it was a lot of fun, buuuuut, I just don't think its needed...at least not now. ____________________
