I started using fragmentation by accident (tinasitter). But then i noticed it rocked and was pleasing to the eyes, so it is stuck with me till twinkle star is back!

Fragmentation looks awesome but it causes this annoying flicker effect on my LCD monitor.

EDIT: It wasn't Fragmentation. My monitor is going psycho.

We should have a script that just randoms every single colour. Period.

The schemes here are MUCH better than the pastel/white colour schemes that 99% of boards use these days. Apparently somewhere people got the idea "DARK BACKGROUNDS = EVIL". Peh. It's not dark backgrounds that are evil, it's poor contrast and/or really clashing colours, like bright green on black, or blue on very slightly darker blue (made even worse because many Commodore 64's were hooked up to TVs).

I've been using the Firefox extension "Stylish", so I've been using a purple scheme here. I copied it from Romendo, or I'd give it to Xkeeper. Hopefully, I'll stop being lazy, and make a purple scheme for here.

Sure, Miner's lament is alright, but it definately doesn't beat Mario Movie.

I agree, that's what makes Acmlm's Board so much different and more appealing than other boards. However, that doesn't mean bright schemes aren't good either (although it is harder to make a bright scheme that doesn't look like every single other one). In my attempts to make a good looking bright scheme for the original AcmlmBoard system, I only managed to come up with one (although I couldn't get the namecolors right). It's here if you'd like to see it. It's called Inverted Cycle (I wonder how it got that name ).

Also, shouldn't this thread be in the Craziness Domain (or Xkeeper sucks at witty descriptions for now), and stickied there?

Oh man, this extension is great. I'm going to tweak Fragmentation to mimic the old Mario theme. ... Hopefully, it won't be buggy.

That would be the traditional place, yes. There are no stickies there yet, and several here in General, so it wouldn't get lost in a bunch of normally ignored stickies...then again, being in one of the "lower" forums the thread may receive less activity.

Mario? Oh, Mariooo!

It's not exactly like the old Mario theme, since this board uses a different post format (backgrounds in post content don't alternate).

My forum isn't the craziness domain

This should just be left alone; it's doing a good enough job staying afloat anyway, as it's been demonstrated.

Then what is it if it isn't craziness? The seriousness domain? The ONO thread forum?

Ironically, the creator of the thread, Anya, has rarely posted in it.

Yeah, not like she did on the first board making jillions of posts a day. I remember her going from 2000 to like 7000 in only a couple months...
