I don't see Wobbuffet on the banned lists, did D/P make him unbroken? If so, in what way?

I hope I see another tournament in the summer too.

I'm not importing. I have European copies of the other pokémon games and I heard about incompatibilities when it comes between transferring pokéymans from the GBA version.

I got one european GBA game and 2 american so I wouldn´t have any problems with that. But as it´s a language lock and not a region lock, it allows American and European DS games to trade. Shouldn´t it be the same with an American Diamond/whatever and european GBA games?

Well, since we're all way further along in teambuilding, do people still want to give this a go?

I figure I'll start sign-ups in a week or two, around June. So it's coming, just not yet.

Hopefully by then I'd have a good WiFi connection, damnit. I really can't wait to see how well my Metagross, Machamp, and Togekiss do.

Or how bad.

By the way, I went and added Darkrai to my list of ubers. I was pretty sure it was uber, most people said it was, but I wanted to see for myself. Now that I have used it in combat, yeah, haha, it's fantastically broken. It's almost as good as Groudon, and as we all know, Groudon is the best pokemon.

I think articuno should be added to the ubers... or at least articuno with sheer cold + mind reader... >> (unless you think is ok having to kill it or something in only one attack...)

That's why you kill it with rock first. The birds are not that special, really.

What's all this about having to kill it all in but one attack? The very common Skarmory is usually immune to one-hit KOs. Switching out renders it mostly pointless. Using "Protect" renders it mostly pointless. It's slow enough that almost every actual attacker can one-hit it or is faster than it and can two-hit it right now. OHKOs moves are fail moves.

I may sign up myself. I'm slowly plowing my way through the game and want to try fighting someone other than the common trainer for once.

Me signing up for this tournament is contingent on my completing the game first.

At the rate I'm going it's not happening.
