I figured that somebody gets paid big money to come up with promotional names and logos for drugs that come out on the market. I'm also aware that even though common side-effects include loss of vision, kidney detonation, reverse bowel function and death, they still try to sell you on all the good points. Try to make it worth it.

I thought I'd try my hand on it. Behold: Rexatim!

Yeah, so the logo can use a little work. But it gets the point across!

Rexatim is a new, state-of-the-art nasal spray designed to effectively and quickly clear up clogged sinuses and respiration pathways. Using all-natural ingredients, this intuitive medication is completely harmless and can be used whenever you like with no harmful side-effects and no chance for addiction. So next time you need to breathe, reach for Rexatim!

...Of course, you'll only understand the humor once you know what "allicin capsaicinate" is, so I'll leave that one up in the air. Enjoy!

There shouldn't be a comma.

"Nasal spray" is being used as a descriptor, here. "Decongestant" is the subject... in my almighty mind, at least.

The comma looks off. And judging from the prefix of capsaicinate, it's a type of pepper or spice.

Yeah, no comma. it's a nasal spray decongestant that happens to be powerful.

I probably prefer eating garlic and chili than injecting it into my nose.

I remember one commercial for a drug that included as a side effect, "increased frequency of bowel movements and an inability to control them" or some such. Who would take a drug that makes them poop in their pants constantly?

Probably someone going for the biggest bowel movement contest. I bet the radio would be perfect for that on the drive-in-to-work shift.

Yeah, radio stations always have really ridiculous call-in stuff. It pisses me off when they spend more time taking in calls and laughing at the people calling than actually playing music. (Part of the reason why I rarely listen to terrestrial radio anymore.)

That's an awesome (albeit fake) ad.

Side effects may include nausea, vomiting.
Serious side effects may include stroke, heart attack, and in some cases, death. (That's actually the serious side effects on a very real drug My dad saw a commercial for it once.. WTF? I think it was for treating some illness that already has meds for it.) Die first, or die faster!

Someone give me a script (and a big ol' long disclaimer that I can speed up at the end) and I'll so do a radio ad for this.

Here's my resumé.

Yeah, no comma. it's a nasal spray decongestant that happens to be powerful.

A degongestant that happens to be powerful and a nasal spray. That's my mode of logic. Screw semantics.

Hate to break it to you, but proper grammar is proper grammar. No comma. Period.

Here's

Oh so that is who that is. I did not remember at all when I got that or who the hell it was. Now I know.

Also, with the side effects thing. Its the law that they must state those. Its something I learned in Economics but I forget what exactly the law is...

I remember hearing some comedian comment on a weight loss drug whose side effects included "anal leakage" or something like that. This is supposed to be healthy?
