My 250GB disk was almost completely full, but I had an unused partition. So, did some adjusting... 9.3 of 14.5GB free on the system partition now. Still only 1.64 of 217GB free on my main partition though, and that's after moving 2GB of *ahem* movies to my laptop which is also nearly full. An older hard disk that I don't really trust due to its age has 17.3 of 18.6GB free.
At some point I need to get a bigass removeable disk, copy all my important stuff to it encrypted, and store it in a safe deposit box at the bank. But I'm also saving for a whole new computer.  |

Started downloading alot lately, mostly full collections of various consoles... now when I have the space I better use it. Yes I have three HD's. One is portable, but it's pretty much inside the computer all the time. I usually have a lot of space on my hard drives as well. Except for my old Compaq with only 4 GB...I would always have to delete files from that if I wanted to install another game or something. Most of my files are small though...roms and older games, images, text. I don't put entire movies on there or anything. |

I think about 30gb free on a 250gb hard drive.
Between the two full TV shows, 7 full game ISOs, Family Guy, movies, and 4gb of music, there's not much room left

It seems that the newest trend nowadays is having high-quality (sometimes lossless) full-length episodes of entire seasons/series (the whole thing sometimes) videos of movies and tv shows. My proposition would be to move all of that huge stuff onto super-huge hard drives, and keep your normal hard drives for games, art, work, etc. ____________________ |

I have a 154 GB hard drive. It has a little more than twice the amount of space of my old 74.5 GB hard drive.
53.7 GB used 101 GB free I've almost used half of it in nearly the 4 months that I have had this hard drive.
Most of it is TV shows, Video game music mp3s, and roms. There's still plenty of Playstation ISOs that I'm going to download later so my used space is going to increase. |

Free space: 1.19 GB Methinks me needs an external hard drive. Of course, this is far better than my old glitched desktop that had 500 MB total and ~52 GB used... |
